Should I buy ?
Uncle in law is finally looking to sell his 89 civic si that’s I’ve asked about for years and curious on peoples opinions. It’s his son’s car but he’s in the military and no longer wants the car. It sat for years and was put on a non op because he knew he’d be gone for 4-10 years.
Pros - civic si , lots of extra parts , new tires on stock rims, drives well, shifts good and engine sounds healthy
Cons - body needs some work , 320k on the dash but I’m not sure if it’s original motor , check engine light (pre obd2 so unable to scan)
I know a bit about cars but not these. He’s looking for 2,000$ can I get some opinions please and thank you.
