Which reconstruction of Game of Death should i use in my edit?

I am currently working on another edit but when i get that one done, i want to do a Bruce Lee edit.

I have been showing my friend Bruce Lee's movies and we are nearing the end. I would rather not show him the 1978 version of The Game of Death. But then i remembered that my old Bruce Lee Warrior's Journey DVD has as an extra a reconstruction of the actual story. Now of course it is a DVD quality in 4:3 and it's only like 18 minutes long but it is enough to make a full short movie of the Game of Death with the story intact. So i am planning to use that documentary as a base and then at the end cut the actual fight scenes.

But there are quite a few reconstructions of the fight scenes, there is the one in Warrior's Journey DVD, though the picture quality is really poor. Then i have the Arrow Films 4K set that has as a bonus the Game of Death Revisited from "Bruce Lee in G.O.D" from 2000. And then of course there is the Final Game of Death. Final Game of Death has some more material not present in the other cuts but i have also heard that some people don't like this version? So is the Game of Death Revisited better? There is also the Game of Death Redux but i haven't been able to get my hands on it.

So, i would just like to hear some opinions, which one of these is the best and which one should i use?

Casino Royale - Extended Cut

This is another pretty quick edit that i did to pass the time and i'm pretty happy how this one turned up. I have edited back into the movie all the deleted scenes that were on the 3 disc Deluxe DVD set and i have done some basic color correcting on them to make them match the movie more closely. There aren't many deleted scenes but what there is are pretty nice and just add a little bit more to the movie for those who want it.

Also i wanted to note here that i have updated my drive where i store my edits. Previously i only send people the link to the folder where that one specific edit is but i have now decided to make one main folder where i'll store all my edits so i hope this makes things way easier going forward!

If you are interested in checking this edit, just send me a dm!

Now the specs of Casino Royale - Extended Cut

Video: 1080p/23,97fps, H.264 (for some reason H.265 renders were laggy so i had to use H.264)

Audio: AAC Stereo 2.0

Includes Optional English Subtitles

Original Runtime: 2h 24min

New Runtime: 2h 28min

File Size: 24gb and 8gb versions available

Now i have a bit longer extended cut coming up next, which i'm gonna start working right now!

Does anyone have The Dark Knight - IMAX 70mm 2K Restoration?

Hi, i am looking for this specific IMAX edit of The Dark Knight by Bobbster574. I did leave a comment on their post about it but i cannot send a dm for them and they haven't replied to my comment in the few days that i have waited. The 1.43:1 container version is the one i am looking for as it is something i haven't seen other IMAX edits do.

If anyone has this edit i'd really appreciate it if you can send me a link for it or if anyone can show me a better way to get in contact with the creator. Thanks.

SE7EN - Extended Cut

I was originally gonna do Blade Runner - Extended Cut but it didn't really work out so i did an extended cut from another of my all time favourite moveis, SE7EN. I did this edit today in about 4 hours and i am pretty happy how it turned up.

I added back in all the deleted scenes from bluray extras.

If you are interested send me a dm first as i don't want to start a new chat myself so that reddit doesn't think i am a bot or something.

Video: 1080p / 23,97fps / H.265

Audio: Stereo 2.0 AAC

Includes Optional English Subtitles

Original Running Time: 2h 7min

New Running Time: 2h 13min

How to show viewers that the scene is a flashback?

I am planning to remake my very first fanedit, The Godfather Novel Cut since i was never happy with how my edit turned up. The basic idea is that i am making The Godfather as close to the novel as possible. One thing that is unique to the book is that it isn't chronological always, sometimes like for example (spoilers ahead though i'm sure everyone has seen the original movie) when Sonny dies, we first read about the morgue scene and it is a surprise when they lift up the blanket to show Sonnys body and after that we see events that lead to his death. Same thing happens when Vito gets shot, we first see Michael and Kay read about it in papers and then we see the actual event.

So my question is, how exactly should i show the viewers that what they are seeing is a flashback? In my original edit, i turned these scenes to black and white but i'd rather not do that anymore, just doesn't feel right. So should i add some kind of special transition or something? If anyone has any ideas o'd love to hear them.

Of course it is also possible that i am just over thinking this and this really isn't an issue...

Does anyone know where to get Tony Stellas artworks in high quality?

Not really sure if this is the right subreddit to ask this but i have no idea where else to ask and Stella did do a lot of artwork for boutique releases. I have tried reverse image search, looking through his website and everything i can imagine and there just doesn't seem to be these posters in high quality. The reason i am looking for these is simply that i want to have these on my wall as these are some really nice art, but his posters are rarely sold and these especially are not and thus i would like to have these printed myself, but the picture quality is way too low. Any tips are appreciated!

Would it be worth it to make an edit when there are already similiar ones out there?

I have made quite a bit of extended cuts that i have released here and my current a bit longer project is still on the break so i made the Kingdom of Heaven Extended Cut that i released a few days ago.

Now i just got out of the blue an idea (like i almost always do) to make an extended cut of one of my all time favourites, Blade Runner, but then i found out that there are several similiar projects such as White Dragon Cut (which seems really cool and i should check it out) and the Electric Unicorn Cut.

So i'm wondering would it be worth it to do an extended cut myself? My idea was to simply include every deleted scene, extended scene / shot from the released deleted scenes to make as long version of this movie as possible with the released footage.

Kingdom of Heaven - Extended Cut

First things first, if you want the link, send me a direct message / chat first. I will not start a new chat with everyone because this can cause Reddit to think i am a bot and then ban me.

Here is my newest extended cut, Kingdom of Heaven. I love this movie and i was surprised to find out that it has a lot of deleted scenes. I immediately started working on this and i am really happy how it turned up!

I also color graded some deleted scenes and shots and i added SFX to one deleted fight scene.

I used the roadshow version of the directors cut from my own blu-ray as a base and i took the deleted scenes from the bonus disc.

Video 1080p, 23.97fps, H.265

Audio: Stereo 2.0 PCM

Includes optional English subtitles as a separate file

Original Runtime: 3h 13min

New Runtime: 3h 35min

So about 22min of new material

File Size: ~40gb

Kingdom of Heaven - Extended Cut Trailer

My edit is almost complete so i'll release it pretty soon, most likely next week. It includes pretty much all the deleted scenes that have been released on the blu-ray. I am really happy how this turned up and for the first time ever in my edits, i also include the english subtitles!

Issues with audiobook chapter breaks in MP3 file

I recently started using my Sansa Clip Zip for listening audiobooks but for some reason with this one audiobook that is in MP3 format, when the chapter changes it just stops playing and goes back to main menu. If i rewind to the point where it changes and the screen is on, it plays a loud noise and then continues the file normally. It does this on every chapter break with this one file, i have been listening to another audiobook in AAC-HE format and it works fine but i haven't yet tested if this issue happens on other formats like M4B.

Could it just be that this one file is corrupted or does it use some chapter break format that Rockbox does not support and if it is, is there anyway to fix this issue?

Here is an extended cut of the movie American Psycho. I tried to get my hands on every deleted scene i could get my hands on and that includes the released deleted scenes from the DVD but also bunch of small extra bits of dialogue and smaller scenes from the pretty rough looking workprint. Also due to the nature of the edit and because of certain bits of dialogue i had to rearrange some parts of the movie, especially towards the end so some transitions might be a bit rough though i did try my best to smooth them out. Also to avoid continuity errors i had to use atleast once an alternative bit of dialogue from the workprint, i hope there isn't any continuity errors left behind because of this re-arrangement, if there are i'd appreciate the feedback!

Also the poster on here is censored, there was originally blood on it but i had to remove it. Though the original poster will be available in the same folder as my edit.

I used 1080p remastered blu-ray as a base and deleted scenes from DVD and from the workprint.

Video: 1080p H.264, 23,97fps

Audio: Stereo 2.0 AAC

No Subtitles

Original Runtime: 1h 42min

New Runtime: 1h 52min

File Size: ~8.5gb
