Does anyone play in SEA?

Posting from Vietnam.

I just finished downloading and was excited to get into a match but when I queued for veteran quickmatch I couldn't find a game. I tried recruit but there wasn't anything there either.

I'm not really interested in playing the game with AI.

To be fair it's the middle of the night but that's pretty much the only time I can play anyways.

Wondering if there's no local player base.

Game Replayability

I was wondering which game the community thought fostered more replayability.

I've just finished the confessions mode in dd2 and have tried my hand at a few kingdom runs that keep getting squashed.

I remember playing dd1 years ago and feel like I'd want to go back to it after finishing the dd2 campaign.

I understand that dd1 has many more mods given the years that it's been out which will give it a big edge on replayability.

Do you guys think kingdoms is fun enough to play multiple times or do you think dd1s estate management was better?

I'm a pretty casual player and haven't added any mods to dd2 yet myself and only played the original on Xbox.

Build Suggestions

Payday 2

I've been playing the game quite a lot recently but am finding myself playing the same build 95% of my games. It's fun but I figured I would come ask some other heisters for recommendations on new builds.

First of all I'm completely f2p so I have limited gun and perk deck options available.

The only good builds I've been able to make are a stoic lmg tank and an akimbo smg dodge hacker. I have a decent sniper build but it can struggle with death sentence.

I tried a secondary saw build with akimbo goliaths and armorer but the ammo consumption of the shotguns along with the slow movement of the ictv(?) vest make it hard to last 30 seconds in anything after overkill diff. I just made a new skill tree and swapped the shotguns for the union rifle so we will see if that works better.

I was just hoping some of you guys could give some input for builds I might not be considering that can fare well in mayhem+.

Thanks in advance

Inb4 just buy the dlc

Automated mod instillation

Just got the game on the steam sale and it's good, except for the wonkiness.

But the random mods instillation is absolutely ridiculous. I've never played a game that is actively installing random mods in the background.

On top of that, the game just stop randomly asking if u want to turn the game off just to play with them! Combat continues and ur looking at a screen that requires input.

Luckily the default input is cancel and you can just click out of it. I've been lucky so far to not hit okay and ruin any progress I've made since my last save.

I have 30+ hours now and didn't need to harp on it until today. Every 2-5 minutes I get a new mod notification. Something I did not sign up for and is taking up space (however little it may be) on my drive.

I googled it and understand that there's a setting that you can use to turn off the workshop but I'm too stubborn to use it.

I just wanted to come here and complain about the biggest flaw in this game next to the pathfinding and general useless interactions of the AI companions. Thanks for reading
