SteamOS won't recognise my second NVMe SSD

Resolved, will paste what ChatGPT got me to do below

Force unmount sudo umount -l /dev/nvme0n1p1

Verify it's unmounted lsblk -f

Remove leftover mount traces sudo rm -rf /run/media/deck/mp400 sudo rm -rf /var/mnt/*

Remount drive udisksctl mount -b /dev/nvme0n1p1

Check the mount lsblk -f

Should see something like: /run/media/deck/XXXX-XXXX

As the title says. I recently posted about my new SFF SteamOS build (https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamOS/s/mnhDLuXXcb) and with it being my first time ever using SteamOS I'm completely new to it all.

I noticed my second drive was showing, when I went to format it within Steam game mode it failed. I did some general AI troubleshooting in desktop mode, and whilst the drive is being shown as present in Konsole, for the life of me I can't get it to show up in Game mode or when trying to add it via Steam in desktop mode.

Can anybody help? I would need it to be ELI5 in all fairness, I'm decent with Windows but Linux is completely foreign to me at the moment.

Edit: Just to addz it will periodically show up in Game mode, but when I attempt to format it, it fails. It's a Corsair MP400 1TB.

Built my own Steam Machine - Brand new to SteamOS

Like many others who were excited to get their hands on a Steam Machine, but not too thrilled about the price, I decided to build my own. Fortunately I had some NVMe storage lying around, managing to get the build to just under £1100.

CPU - Ryzen 5 7600X

GPU - AMD PowerColor 9060 XT 16GB

RAM - Kingston Fury Beast 2x8GB

Motherboard - ASRock B650I Lightning Mini ITX

PSU - Corsair SF750

Case - Fractal Ridge

I've only managed to build the PC, update the BIOS and install SteamOS so far, so I can't tell you how it actually performs yet. What I do want to know, as a complete newbie to SteamOS, what are the immediate things I should be doing and are there any cool functions/integrations I can take advantage of?

My main PC is Windows based, and my ROG Ally is also on Windows so this is relatively new to me.

(Excuse my test bench in the pictures)

SFF PC - Is it worth it for me?

Similar to everybody else who was shocked at the price to performance spec of the Steam Machine, I've started to look at building a SFF PC for my living room.

Keeping the price below £1k, I'm just wondering what parts would be needed for a similar form factor that outperforms it?

Either that or just use Moonlight/Sunshine from my office PC (5080 GPU, 9800X3D CPU, 64GB DDR5 RAM) but this would be by using WiFi 7 or ethernet from the PC - Powerline - Nvidia Shield. I have 1GB Broadband but my power lines cap out at 100MB up and down, whereas my WiFi 7 gets pretty much the full speed although latency might be an issue.

I'm not looking for the same performance as my main PC for my living room, I just want a console like experience with decent upscaling to 4K.

Any advice is appreciated 👍

Over saturated picture on House of the Dragon S03E01

Is anybody else being blinded when watching the first episode of season three of House of the Dragon on Now TV via the app?

I'm watching it on an LG C4 in HDR and it's so over saturated that it's offensive. I've switched to the HBO Max app to cast it which is much better but obviously it's not HDR.

Any fix?

Highspeedio V5 Backlight

Bought this from a seller on eBay who fixes them up as a hobby. I believe the SP is a reshell, with USB-C charging and a Highspeedio V5 IPS screen.

This is on brightness 10 I think, is this just normal IPS glow? I've loosened the top two screws slightly. I'm a bit scared to get the bottom two screw covers off without damaging them. Any ideas?

Woke up to an email saying my flight has changed with the only real change being the arrival time in Dubai. Wondering if the 1.5 hour connection is enough time to actually get on my second leg of the journey?
