Currently in trade school.
Looking for resources to supplement my trade course, because I'm not grasping electrical wiring and diagramming, and missed out on some information regarding contactors/relays, and controls in general. Also need more, easy-to-understand information about electric motors utilized in HVAC applications, how they are wired in systems, and the hard-starts and start-assists they rely on for torque.
I realize this is a very broad query, and I appreciate any assistance with understanding these things. Sometimes I feel like I really comprehend a concept, and could explain it back with visual aids, and then the next day it's completely lost to me and I can't recall it. I am already studying basic residential HVACr and the refrigerant circuit, without full understanding of the electrical circuit. Thanks for your help!
