Best way to get to arts center area in ATL

I am looking into jobs located near the Arts Center Marta station. What is the best way to get there three days a week in the morning from Johns creek, let’s say near bell road and 141? I would need to be in the office by around 8 and leave close to 5

Drive to doraville, park, and Marta?

Or is it better to just drive all the way in side I will have parking?

Or are there any other options?

Which will be fastest and most predictable?

Applying to jobs I’m overqualified for

Been in the workforce for 25+ years and want my next job to be an easier lower level job to keep my sanity and have less stress and pressure overall. I’ll accept lower salary gladly.

Is this practical or do recruiters pass on it. how do I approach it? Do I dumb down resume or keep it as is and apply away to the lower level jobs?

How real are full time remote jobs (for candidates not local to the company)?

I started my job search looking strictly for full time remote jobs. I saw a bunch and applied to them. I got zero responses. I’m wondering if these job boards such as indeed are misclassifying some of these as remote when they’re not or if these companies prefer or require the candidates to be local to the work location.

Is there a good job board for full remote jobs that don’t charge?

Driving on spare (dual motor)

Got a flat. Replaced with spare I bought off fb. Fit was good. Accessories it came with were good but when I started driving there was a loud clicking noise and feeling too. Made a u turn and went back home

Is anyone familiar with this issue? Tire guy said aftermarket spares for Tesla sometimes don’t work on AWD systems.

First listings and questions

I found a few products at alibaba to sell on amazon fba

First, I plan not to put any customized labels on the product for now. Is this ok? I do plan to set up a store with multiple products.

Second, shipping is rather costly. Should I have it sent to me first, then do what I have to do, and then ship to an Amazon fc? Or should I have the alibaba vendor ship directly to Amazon?

Third, I assume these are products with no upc and no specific brand name (yet). Does this mean I don’t need pre approval to sell them although it looks like the same exact item is already on Amazon? I plan to post different pictures and use a different brand name (my store name).

Lastly, when/if I ship the inventory to Amazon is it cheaper to shop for my own shipping or does Amazon offer competitive inbound shipping?

One more question : how do returns work? Do I get charged for the return back to Amazon? What rate of returns can I expect for household goods?

Thank you.

Experienced analyst’s next steps

I have been in the workforce some 25 years working extensively with sql in different roles and dabbling in a few other tools such as tableau

I am currently taking time off from work and contemplating completing a course/degree/certification in some sort of data analytics or data science as one last hurrah.

What would you recommend if I don’t want to commit too much time and money? If things go my way I would work as a data science professional for 5 more years before hanging it up

Choosing 13u team

For next year kid has been accepted to slightly higher level team than previous years but not quite AAA. He probably could make a legit AAA team but should he choose to keep semi stud status on the first mentioned team or roll dice and potentially be a middle of the lineup or even bottom half of the lineup kid on AAA?

What’s most important obviously is reps and development under good coaching. But with his playing window potentially closing in a year or two is finding out how well he can compete at the highest level and being on a higher skilled team that can compete and win.

Hail damaged roof replacement at no cost to owner

Several companies have come by saying they can inspect my roof for hail damage similar to my neighbors and once approved they will replace it at no cost to me. They have good reviews and no neighbors have complained yet. I have seen them replace a few roofs on my street.

Is this legit?

Also they said my insurance premium is even likely to go down due to the high quality materials they would use. Is this true? Is there any chance it can go up

13.5 yo with bone age 16 - potential growth by slowing down growth plate closure

I am waiting to take son to endo but anxiously have been doing online research. Kid’s height growth velocity slowed down significantly (90th percentile down to 70th in 9 months) so took him in, and was informed of advanced bone age.

Hormone levels are normal so I assume growth hormones won’t be prescribed. But if he goes on inhibitors, what kind of growth can he realistically see? Will it be immediate? How long could he expect to be on the meds?

Fee comparison - IB vs TOS

For people familiar with both, what can I expect to pay for the following

3,000 monthly trades
Straight stocks - long and short
$10k average buy/sell amount

I have been using TOS for the first few months of trading due to their no commission and intuitive interface but I still pay some fees - around 20 cents per round trip. I have found order fills to be slow.

Was it a fluke

I paper traded for a good two months with decent results - 60% win rate, profitable on 65% of the days

Went live and was profitable 6 of the first 9 days. Then came Friday. While some of the stocks tanked double digits over the course of the day I still lost on them and by days end I gave up all my previous profits and then some. Were my 6 winning days a fluke?

I picked perhaps the worst stock to trade - mrvl. Its volatile price movements were hard to track. I should’ve avoided it after the first two losing trades. I should’ve ended the day when I hit my daily loss limit. I abandoned the rules I made for myself

TOS system issues today

Market orders weren’t going through. It processed multiple orders in a single batch. Position size was 6x what it was supposed to be

They resolved and fixed my positions but still not a good feeling

Is this common?

Can’t fix sagging door for the life of me

I’ve tried tightening the top hinge and putting in cardboard behind the bottom hinge. I’ve even used pliers to pull the 1, 3, and 5 top hinge sections towards the door but the gap in the top left of the door seems to have gotten worse. Are there any sure solutions?
