Was there ever a blacked out option for the 2024 XD Platinum reserve? Looks like it came out of texas. I need to go see it in person to get an idea of whether everything is just wrapped black or if it was replaced with parts from a different trim level truck. Any eagle eyed folks on here that can tell me if this was ever an option, if it looks like the grill from another trim?
Is there anything to look for with the early build LS3 cars? I looked at a low mileage (20k) 2008 today that was build in September 2007. The clutch pedal was much lighter than my last C6. It was also much louder than I expected for an NPP equipped car. The fuse was still in place and there wasn't a mild-to-wild switch installed.
Are these aftermarket wheels?
How do you brush rustoleum enamel (black satin) on metal surfaces without brush marks and the texture looking like shit? The can says not to thin it but it's thick enough to where it doesn't go on smoothly. If I run the brush over the same spot a few times it starts feeling tacky and looks worse. I've tried brushes specifically for enamel and oil based paints as well as the little foam sponges with similar results.
