Art meet up!

We are excited for another meet up, thank you to everyone who came out last time it was such a blast!

🗣️IMPORTANT PLEASE READ🗣️

At our last meet up we tasked everyone with creating a piece of art that incorporates or represents your favorite spot in Portland. At this months meet up upon entry you will draw a number. After 15ish min of mingling everyone will find their number match. You both will share about you made and then TRADE YOUR ART 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↕️🥰.

SO PLEASE COME WITH SOMETHING TO TRADE! This is the main thing we will be doing but as always come with something to work on and ready to meet fellow artists!

Event sponsored by Cedar House Church!

Been stacheing for a few years. Never going back 😌☝🏻

Shave twice a week. First shave is just the neck second is everything but the stache. It’s a nice rhythm :)

Sometimes I miss my old hair 🥲

Grew my hair out for 3 years and 8 months. It was soooo much work. I loved it, got to talk to all sorts of people I probably wouldn’t have. My hair built a bridge! But 45 min de tangling by hand (brushes and wide tooth combs would rip all my hair out) in the shower was no longer worth it haha.

Routine: two ish showers a week.
Shampoo and conditioned with OGX (the purple bottle), then used the Garnier Fructis avocado hair mask (my hair needed hella moisturizer lol), then air dry.

I almost always showered before bed and slept backwards on my bed, draping my hair off the end of the bed and had an oscillating fan going all night so it was a lazy man’s cold air diffusion haha.

Life is a lot simpler. Shampoo and conditioner with native products, then I use the same hair mask but the smallest little dollop and air dry.

First day of my old job vs last day [25]

M 25 Lost 50lbs, cut my mullet, and ran a marathon :)

Stopped self soothing with food as a coping mechanism for anxiety and depression. And fell in love with running. Also realized that I didn’t need to eat just because I was hungry.

EDIT for context: this was around a 2 year transformation. First photo was April 2024, second photos March 2026
