I really like how this turned out. Maybe I should build more interior harbors?

I heard that even the most powerful systems are running into low FPS numbers when they exceed a certain population level. So, for those with a massive pop count, when did you island start stuttering and what's your specs?
I think mine started at around 10k to 12k (I currently have more than 21k, 350 trucks, and more than 120 trains). I have an i7-10870H with 32GB RAM and RTX 3060 laptop. My FPS is hovering between 10 and 15, but I still have to keep on building LOL
I’m setting up a long-distance connection (around 60m) through a Ethernet/HDMI extender. I currently have a CCA UTP cable which somehow does the job, but I get occasional interference. Do you guys know where I can find solid FTP Ethernet cables of the same length that's already pre-terminated with RJ45s?
So, I wanted to see how low I could go without affecting the edges of the rock mine and got to -140. Now that I've moved on from digging, it's time to fill 'er up.
So, I currently have five Nuclear Reactor IIs running on both Uranium and MOX Rods. Because of this, I have an excess of Depleted Uranium in storage. I've been looking through the tech tree, and I plan upgrade my powerplants to FBR in the future.
The Codex says that I'll eventually need 10 Depleted Uranium to combine with 2 Blanket Fuel (Enriched) and 4 Salt to produce 4 Blanket Fuel. From there, I can run it through the FBR to get some Blanket Fuel, and then I'm going to need 8 Blanket Fuel to produce 6 Blanket Fuel (Enriched) and 2 Core Fuel (of which I'll need 16 Core Fuel to get electricity from the FBR).
Now, I was just wondering if I'll be able to use my stockpile of Depleted Uranium to help produce Blanket Fuel to feed the FBR? I haven't unlocked the technology yet and studying it through the Codex alone is quite confusing.
I suspect I can just go ahead and use my excess Depleted Uranium as landfill for my island. However, I don't want to do this if I'm going to need it later for FBR production.
I used to run a five-car train in Update 3, but the number of trains needed to keep the entire island running is just jamming up the tracks. For my Update 4 run, I decided to make my trains long enough that I can completely fill a single Storage III container in one trip (paired with three locomotives).
I still get some traffic this way (long ones, too, because of the length of my trains), so I'm also upgrading my track system from 2-wide to 4-wide.
I was wondering how you guys are handling your own train systems.
Finally cleared all the alerts!!! Now, time to build another megastructure and start another cascade of warnings.
I tried this mining technique to make my mines look good, but I ensured that I have trades going on so I don't run out of material while my excavators carve out each level.
