I Exposed My Sister’s Affair and Now Everyone Blames Me for Destroying Her Family

So the past few days have been such a doozy, I need to get this off my chest.

So last week I found out that my sister who is 45 has been cheating on her husband with her own son’s friend who is like 21 and his friend is also of the same age. I saw them entering a motel quite a way away from our hometown as I was doing delivery for my work. I went and confronted her and she confessed from her own mouth that this has been going on for quite a long time. Then came the waterworks that it was a mistake and that it wasn’t serious and she was just unhappy with her marriage and was looking to “feel young” somehow.

Now I’m close with my brother in law and I know that he is such a good husband to my sister and a great dad to my nephew and niece and I thought he deserved to know the truth and gave her the ultimatum to either tell him or I will tell him myself. She agreed and a few days passed and I assumed she told him the truth and they were going through their thing but few days later I saw her at a cafe with the same guy giggling away.

After that at that exact moment I called my brother in law and told him the whole truth and apparently he confronted her the same day and was denying it for quite some time but eventually broke down and came clean. He told her to get out from the house and she has been living in our parent’s house for a week now.

Every relative of ours and our parents have been constantly messaging and calling me and telling me that I had no right to ruin my sister’s life like this. My sister when I went to my parents house freaked out on me calling me a sad loser for being single at 40 and probably having a crush on my brother in law ( WTF I don’t go for other people’s man especially not my sister) was the reason I ousted her.

Her husband have been taking it very badly and apparently have been drowning his sorrow, also he has filed for divorce and the kids also have been completely devastated, my niece even flew down from another state from her college to be with her father. The kids are completely siding with their father and seem to absolutely hate my sister now. My nephew even went to that friend’s house and fought.

This whole drama have been messing with my head and I’m contemplating if I was actually wrong to interfere in my sisters life like this and ruining a family.

P.S posting it from a throwaway account to dodge any more drama.

What anime would you recommend to someone who says they don’t like anime?

I’m curious what everyone’s go-to recommendation is for someone who says they “don’t like anime.”
Personally, I think it depends a lot on what they already enjoy watching. Someone who likes crime/thrillers might enjoy Death Note or Monster, while someone who prefers emotional dramas might connect more with A Silent Voice or Violet Evergarden.
What anime would you recommend to someone who has never really enjoyed anime before? And what made you choose that one?

Edit: Not OP, just joining the discussion and interested in everyone’s recommendations.

Anyone still waiting a long time for an Irish Short Stay (C) visa as the spouse of an EU citizen?

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping to hear from anyone who’s recently been through a similar application.

I applied from India for an Irish Short Stay (C) visa as the spouse of my Portuguese wife. We’re travelling together, and my application is under the “Family member of EU/EEA/Swiss citizen (spouse)” category.

I completed my biometrics on 15 May 2026, and my application was dispatched to the Irish Embassy on 20 May 2026. Since then, the VFS tracker has shown the same status with no updates, and I haven’t contacted either VFS or the Embassy yet because I’m not sure whether this is still considered a normal processing time since the website shows 6-8 weeks.

If you’ve applied for the same type of visa recently, how long did it take before you received a decision? Did your VFS status remain “Dispatched to the Irish Embassy” the entire time, or did it change before a decision was made? If you applied from India, I’d especially appreciate hearing about your timeline.

Thanks in advance. It’s reassuring to hear from people who’ve been through the same process.
