Lubliana street 11. Saw a broccoli hair boy (not calling that POS a man on purpose) and 2 girls playing cards yesterday, speaking Arabic. Today I see these cards thrown all around the place. Total of 3 people, 0 civic sense. If you're reading this or know who did this - clean it up, otherwise don't be surprised that you're thrown out of the country like you threw these cards.

The worst drivers - ?

For me it's always white Ford Fusion. The cheapest car that passes for comfort class taxi. Fucking kings of the road, kings of life in a crapped out shitbox that are above using turn signals and other made-up bulllshit. Just driving as they feel.

In general, I'd say driving in Georgia has significantly improved over the years. Almost always people are actually using turn signals and are polite overall, including the highway. Especially compared to Eastern Europe, where people don't let you merge in the left lane as if their manhood depends on it.

Syrian barber in Tbilisi

The subject says it all. Looking for a Syrian barber in Tbilisi. Somehow I've never gotten a bad haircut from Syrians wherever in the world I am, even if we completely don't understand each other's language.

So I ran into the limit of another AI assistant (not naming on purpose, don't want this to come off as advertising) that had been working for 3 or 4 days, and needed some other LLM to summarize the findings.

Paid for AI Pro. Downloaded Gemini CLI. Told it to analyze and summarize.

"I was planning to read all your files into context and send it, but they don't fit".

Ok, found a workaround to make it read only the directory structure, not the files themselves.

Stuck at "Thinking" for 15 minutes. I didn't bother looking at the network traffic, but I'm pretty sure it just got stuck.

Then I reran the same prompt again, and it produced a reply within a minute, but it only mentioned 4 or 5 entries out of 58 available. A couple of meaningless ones, a couple with a summary, so the prompt was processed correctly I guess. Not sure if it's the tooling or the model itself at fault here.

Then I gave a try to the VSCode plugin. Maybe it's more popular and more polished, right? Can't even reference the directory I need. File selection dialog lists EVERYTHING, every single subdirectory, but not the directory I need. Other AI assistant plugins don't have this problem. I checked.

Any advice on how to make use of this is welcome. I know the model itself is very capable, I've used it with other providers' tooling before. But with the "reference" tooling it's honestly easier to just not use it at all.
