Ever since they did this episode

Ever since they did this episode

People use this phrase a lot. I never noticed until this episode. Even Rick and Morty recently had a joke about it.

The QoL in this game is incredible

I have played many, many games of this type in my life and the devs decision to do away with some of what I would call common traits of games like this to make the players life easier is really worth a shout out.

Some things I've noticed in the first few hours:

  1. Shops don't have hours and don't require the shopkeeper to be present, you can enter and use them whenever you need.

  2. If you need someone to be present to trigger a cutscene they're just there when you show up even if they wouldn't normally be present due to their schedule.

  3. Traversal is great - the movement speed is fast and you can jump and swim! I did not realize how much games like these needed jumping until I got it.

  4. You don't need to have items in your direct inventory for crafting - as long as they are stored somewhere, you can access them.

Obviously the gameplay here stands on the shoulders of giants, but I really like how each generation of farming games improves on and adds things to the genre. Really makes it feel like a fresh take.

Edit: another one I just thought of, you never need to refill the watering can!

Second edit: the map shows where everyone is at all times.

Recommendations for car servicr

Hi all,

In November I'm taking my daughter and her friend to a concert in Hartford. When I was a kid my dad used to rent a limousine to take us to shows like this as a fun surprise and I want to do the same for her. Does anyone have any recommendations for a car service that they've used that would service the Manchester - Hartford area?

Settle an argument about throw ins

Every year my kids youth team has a parent/child game to cap the season. Every year the parent who plays goal will call for a throw-in from a teammate and catch the throw. Every year we argue about whether this is legal.

I've seen the case that picking up a thrown ball from a teammate after it touches the ground is a backpass. Is it a backpass if the keeper catches the throw-in without letting it touch the ground, i.e literally throwing the ball to the keepers habds?

Wait a minute, computer - Enhance

What exactly is the book Woo Baby about and why does this kid have a copy of it? I'd expect to see this in Randy's collection, not here

Death... by snu-snu!

Not gonna lie, the Trails series is not the one where I would expect a Futurama reference. You'd think Randy of all people would be more into snu-snu.
