GUARANTOR FOR VISA JP

Applying for Japan Visa Without COE/ITR – Will a Guarantor Be Enough(brother/sister in law?

Hi everyone!

My boyfriend and I are planning to travel to Japan this September. I’m currently employed, and I haven’t processed my ITR but I am a freelance for a 9 mos now.

I doubt my ADB is enough but my bank balance is enough for the trip expenses. Because of this, I’m planning to have my brother as a guarantor.

Brother profile:

34m

monthly afaik 6 digits

The problem is seems like the wife wants to keep it confidential. My brother can help me with the bank ( landbank ) this is where paycheck goes. But it doesn’t have any balance.

I could also do the same thing for my sister. ( both of them walang savings cuz nasa asawa )

or my brother in law as my guarantor. I will still be able to show proof of personal funds from my back pay, which would be around Php 1xx,xxx

Given my situation, do you think I have a strong chance of getting approved? Which one has higher approval? I believe I don’t have a strong ties in PH atm.

For context, this will be my first time visiting Japan—

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who had a similar situation and got approved. 😊

Thank you so much!

Japanese NAT test

As you can see on the title, I will be taking NAT test this June 14 and I was just wondering how do each category looks like especially for reading? Idk much about kanji and I am afraid if it’s not furigana or I wouldn’t be able to read the sentence because it’s constructed with Kanji. Thank you in advance!

I’m currently researching the financial and bank requirements for a Japan student visa, and I noticed that immigration seems to pay close attention to proof of financial stability. From what I’ve read, they usually ask for recent bank statements, proof of savings, income documents, and sponsor information if a parent or relative is supporting your studies. I’ve also heard that sudden large deposits can sometimes raise questions, so maintaining a consistent balance seems important. For those who already moved to Japan as students, how much savings did you show for your application, did you use your own account or a sponsor’s, and were there any financial issues or additional documents immigration asked from you?

From the title itself, I am just curious what are the bank records they usually accept? Do they accept payroll?

I just wanted to share this because it feels really comforting and empowering.

I’m still working on my social anxiety, and I’m not yet used to interview setups where the founder of the company plus other people are present. It makes me even more nervous, especially when it’s more than just me and the client in the call.

I applied to this company a few days ago, and I happened to interact with a fellow Filipina who was my HR( Joana ) . She handled my initial interview, and honestly, it felt like we were family already. It was so comforting to meet someone in the same industry who has such an empowering presence someone who genuinely helps you grow, reach your full potential, and believe in yourself.

She guided me, gave me advice, and supported me after I passed the initial interview. Today, we had our final interview (which happened earlier than planned), and it went really well. But what stood out the most was having someone there who lifted me up, encouraged me, and cheered me on. That kind of support is priceless.

Sadly, not all Filipinos in this industry are as supportive. Some people carry that toxic Filipino mindset, but meeting someone like her reminds you that there are still people who genuinely want to see their fellow Filipinos succeed.

I just wanted to share this because I feel really grateful. People like her make work feel like home. Yun lang naman hehe.

Thank you Ma’am Joana, may God bless you and your family more blessings.

If you’ve had the same kind of experience, share it in the comments. Let’s prove that there are still a lot of Filipinos who choose kindness and support over toxicity.

Sana pumasaaaa tho, Amen. 🙏🏻
