Can anybody explain what a lesbian gaze is???

pls dont just say “if they stare too long than a normal person would” and then expect me to get it because i wont🤧

i swear there is SOMETHING going on in that stare but i just cant put my finger on it

its not even a kind of stare thats loud and assuming….

its a quiet look that has weight on it that it gets to a point where it feels quite intimate for some reason

then youd feel it gone once you break contact, but i swear it lingers

kinda like an aftertaste

and theyre not even doing anything but just look!!!!

someone pls explain

yearning but in a nun way

why is no one talking much about The Art of Joy (2024) miniseries. i dont even watch series but I instantly fell for it

anyways, i thought by now it would get the recognition it finally deserves. but i rarely heard anyone talk about it. tbh, it would have been perfect if it was a loose adaptation where men were not involved.

but yeah, any suggestions with this theme would be great but i would really prefer if it was a non-fantasy and non auto/biographical book since i lean towards literary fiction.

first 3 photos were from the AoJ and the last is from Novitiate (2017)

any nun or ex-nun who fell in love with a girl outside the convention is relevant too

thank you all!

Big 4 Open House Hiring Experience

Which of these firms so far did you get the best experience overall especially from the management and hiring team?

How was the environment and vibe of the professionals? Was HR super strict and hard to warm up to?

Asking from a student perspective since I wanted to get into one of the big 4 someday and know which company to prioritize before applying to other firms 🥹

TY all and congrats to the new CPAs! 🫶

i think i developed a crush on my dermatologist

just 3 sessions in and i’m already smitten. it’s the way she kinda mirrors me during consultations; how she takes her time, is attentive, and laughs when i shared something related to her medical questions… (mustve been the wind)

plus, she’s also kinda clinically/professionally shy? if theres even a proper term for this or idk maybe its just me

i know this is very common behavior for doctors (not the latter sentence) and ive frequently changed derm in the past because they seem to kinda lack something…

this one is very recent and i can’t imagine changing doctors again, but i also wanted to consider it if the feeling starts to get a little scary

should i change my derm because of this or just get used to it?

which of the big 4 firms did you have the best internship or heard good things about?

please share your experiences. my OJT is about to start next term and as someone who has never joined an org and with zero work experience compared to my blockmates, i think it would be a challenge for me to sell myself out there considering that the majority of the people i know also wanted to get into the big 4 and they are all stellar as hell

i know big 4 are not the only companies out there that provides the best work integrated learning experience but it has now become a dream of mine to have an opportunity to get to work in any of these 4

i consider myself a late bloomer for never having considered joining an org when the opportunity were there but i got too scared due to acad stress and adding org into my schedule would most definitely emotionally and physically drain me.

anyway this has turned into a rant post,,, ive been eyeing EY or PwC the one near the PUP engineering building (forgot what they used to call it) how’s the learning experience, the environment and professionals? which would you vouch among the 4 and whats your most memorable experience with the professionals so far?

What specific or unusual mannerisms have you seen women have that you find attractive?

mine is when i observe someone who fidgets with her necklace when she gets a bit nervous and tense.

it’s a subconcious, self-soothing mannerism that grounds her, i think. and the fact that she depends on that small jewelry to calm herself down is just so… i can’t explain it but it’s weirdly attractive.

English Edition - Live version of a song that is better than the original?

subjective of course, what’s yours?

i was so deep into searching the early 2000s songs that i used to listen before at the time that i was still too young to digest the lyrics’ meaning, and then i stumbled upon this gem again, thank you apple music algorithm!

fun fact: it’s a christian song pala. akala ko pasok siya sa yearning playlist ko hahahaha

isn’t it anxiety-inducing when…

you dive into a conversation with someone on this app then when you hit it off and get to the part where you finally want to meetup for the sake of trying to test the waters before making things official, then you find out that youve actually been talking to someone who you personally knew and both of you, or at least one of you werent out 🌈?

once again, just a sudden question that will keep me up at night if i dont get answers

context, ive never tried the phr4r thing and i dont think i would ever plan to bcs aside from other major considerations, THIS exact situation is what im actually trying to avoid. i believe, this would 98% happen to me.

tbh, idk if i actually dreamt of this exact scenario before or if its just a random thought that flew over my head then struck me hard. but let me know your thoughts

so i have this crush. i barely get any chance to speak to her. but she’s an employee in the company where im having my internship.

and she’s my recruiter fckfjfjfj

am i being weird? i think our age gap isnt quite that huge to begin with so plss if anyone’s gonna point that outtt. like im certain that she’s only 2 or 3 years older than me at a maximum and we’re both gen z. i saw her linkedin and she just graduated in 2024 while im graduating this year.

at some point, i thought she’s also an intern like me bcs she looks so young until i saw her in one of our school partnership event where she’s the department representative.

im out to my friends and they knew about my attraction towards her but i know its just a happy crush. the mere idea that i could see her anytime at the company even though im in a different department helps me cope with college stress and made me feel inspired pa to do well to get a best performer award.

i think she mightve been aware of this little crush i have for her since i had acted on my feelings very openly in one of our rare interactions (thanks to my supportive friends), but not enough to freak her out (i’m sure of this bcs i’m very careful and know when to draw the line with my playfulness).

i was even thinking of applying in the same company after the boards bcs i rlly like the culture and the people i work with, and also, i would get to see her and prolly have a meaningful interaction with her as often tooo 🥹

shes a little shy and sooo soo cute. ive always heard good things about her through my co-interns, which is a huuuge plus in a way that im not just biased towards my feelings for her

pls tell me if crushin on your recruiter is normal? 😫
