I got PADI OW cert and wanted to do Advanced. But it seems that PADI splits this into Advanced and Deep Diver while NAUI combines this into one.
In my area it's harder to schedule NAUI lesson than PADI (which is why I did OW through PADI) so I wanted to see if it's worth trying to schedule with NAUI for Advanced.

I've had piraformis for a while which I've been very slowly recovering from. But because of this I have very tight muscles. I'm stretching a lot and strengthening but I'm not sure if this is ever going to go away.
I don't know if this will disqualify me from getting limb lengthening if I go to somewhere like Paley for example. I've been wanting to do just a 2.5-3.5" extension. So not too much. Maybe moreso tibia.
I've been diagnosed by my physical medicine doctor though he's not sure the best treatment other than more painkillers and epidural. My therapist was telling me that this could be psychosomatic since I work a lot, and it might be stress-induced. How can I tell that it is?
does anyone know if this is still being worked on or if it's dead?
Boston dynamics I understand they're a completely different playing field at the super premium end of the market. But I don't understand how these three companies even plan to compete with Unitree or any other Chinese robotics company which has much better performing non-geriatic bots at 1/10th the price. If that's the case, then I can't see what market these robots will even be competitive in.
Not saying this as a hater but like someone who wants to get into the field but really hesitant.
25M. I've had sciataca for more than a year now. It started off not that bad, so I thought it would go away. But over the next few months it's been getting worse. I was first screened on an xray where they didn't see anything. So I was just referred to PT where I had to do leg stretches. However after a month of PT it got worse.
I finally went to the doctor for MRI when my toe started buzzing and feeling numb.
My MRI shows a really small herniation and very slight narrowing canal (doctor didn't call it stenosis) so the doctors aren't sure why the symptoms are so strong. I got an epidural last week. But even with that, my leg pain is really bad. I'd say the epidural didn't do anything significant. And I'm almost bedridden or stuck in my home since walking and sitting is so painful.
It's really annoying I feel like there's something that's not being accounted for. I don't know if this is going to be lifelong. Since it's been more than a year and I haven't seen any indication of this reversing course or healing.
