I mostly just need to know if he can live comfortably and happily with his neck like this. It’s a pretty bad kink :( he’s the sweetest little guy and seems to move around okay but i’m not sure he’ll be able to eat with his spine like that

euthanize or is it possible i can give him away to someone knowledgable and they can give him a good life?

I ended up with some corn snake eggs and now have 5 hatchlings to feed. I know they’re gonna need some pretty tiny prey, i’m thinking day old mice?

I just got this little guy yesterday, set up his home and put him in there about 10 minutes ago. He started shaking in place and it kind of looks like he’s molting maybe? is it weird for him to be doing that so soon after being put in there?

i’ve had this pretty girl for well over a month, nearly two! And i still haven’t given her a name! for some reason nothing i’ve tossed around seems to click. i love food themed names and ive been known to name animals as other animals! i’ll list some of my other pets and their names so you guys can get a feel for my style!

my 2 cats - grouper and trout
my leopard gecko - tater tot
my rabbit - bean
my rats (rip) - pig and cow

i feel like that’s enough to give you guys an idea! please throw any idea you think of in the comments! even if you think it’s stupid (i love stupid names!)

I know I need more climbing stuff, i have a few things in the works. Otherwise, what do we think! I’ve been posting a lot lately about my girl, i got her and she was gravid (which was a surprise) and then she held her eggs for a long time, it was a bit of a fiasco since I don’t know about about that aspect of snake keeping. Anywho, give me any tips or advice if you have it! Thanks!

I got my first ever corn snake a few weeks ago, she was given to me already gravid. I have no experience with snakes to be honest but i’ve been doing a lot of research. My corn snake was really protective over her eggs and i couldn’t get them out until about 24+ hours after she was finished laying. I’m looking for help in helping the eggs hatch! I’d also take any advice you have for helping her recuperate!

Will they do okay in these containers? The clutch won’t separate and i don’t want to tear the shells.

Please give me advice! (be kind if possible, i’m trying!)

I have a gravid corn snake, she was gravid when I got her, and she’s ready to lay soon. Tonight she’s been really avidly ceiling surfing and has already fallen twice. How do I get her to stop? Why is she doing this?? Is there something i can do for her? Will this make her egg bound?

I’ve got an adult corn snake (just got her a few days ago) and her 4x2x2 is coming in the mail. I got a dubia roach enclosure so the top is mesh. Here’s where I have questions:

Should I use a dome lamp or should I mount it inside with a cage?

What wattages are we using, my apartment can be a little on the cold side.

Are we getting uvb bulbs for our corns? I’m thinking yes but i’m curious what you guys do!

I was sold a snake who’s gravid, this is my first snake I don’t know what to do/look out for? He said that he did pair her, and that she looks like she’ll lay in 2 weeks. How do I know if she getting egg bound or if something is wrong? What do i do with the eggs when she lays them? What needs to change about her enclosure/humidity??

Please help, literally just got her today. Don’t even have her permanent enclosure yet 😭 (i have a 4x2x2 coming but it’ll be a few days shipping)

Any enclosure tips and tricks! What’s the best way to attach things to the walls! What enclosures you got (i’m thinking i’ll get a dubia roach one but im open to suggestions!)

I’d like to get a corn snake, I want an adult that’s friendly and calm. I found one and i really like the snake but i’m curious on the price. They said $250 counting shipping for her. She’s 2 years old.

Just wanna make sure i’m not being scammed (my forty’s snake was an anery paint kenyan sand boa nd the guy charged me 200, i had no idea what it should cost and everyone said that’s an insane price)

I got a kenyan sand boa 2 weeks ago, she’s beautiful and perfect and i’ve seen her twice since getting her lol. Anyways, how do you keep the soil from drying out? I know it needs to be somewhat damp for it to hold burrows but it dries out so fast. I’ve tried to make sure i mist in there but all that does is slightly dampen the top? I don’t want the dirt to fall in on her and suffocate her or something.

Also, how do you feed a snake you never see? She never even pokes her head out 😭
