Going to be starting the Omnipod 5 soon.

It seems there are so many complaints, I'm concerned, added on to my normal concerns. I have type 2, uncontrolled for so many years, and because of Lantus they decided this may be better for me. I am extremely large and truly don't think a tubed pump with work for me, so I patiently waited for about a year for the Omnipod to finally work with the Libre 3. My biggest fear is that it will give me too much insulin (going to be using U-200) but the instructor told me children use this and that is has safety measures for that, as well as so many complaints that it's not keeping up with levels. But I know if I had to put in my carbs there would be times that I would be getting triple the amount I would normally take, still on a sliding scale, so if my levels are like 300 I take 13 units of U-100 rapid acting. Insulin usually takes about 4-6 hours, closer to 6, before I am at a decent level. But the number one reason I am going on a pump is because of the Lantus. When I hit a blood vessel I drop, rapidly, so like from 250 to 70 in about 15 minutes, while drinking juice and munching tablets, so I have gotten in a habit of making my levels high so I can accommodate the drop if needed. It's a horrible cycle and I can't get my levels regulated because of it. Anyway, it takes me a little while to learn something and I only have the instructor for like an hour or so, I have worries, that I won't use it right, that I'll screw up adding the insulin, inputting carbs, placing the pod. So placing the pod, I only have my upper arms, like I said, I'm big, placing them anywhere else I will likely knock it off, or just be painful, I use my sensor on my upper arms, change sides every two weeks and I was told that the pod has to be on the same side of the sensor, close to it, is this true? how would I be able to use 7 pods on one arm in two weeks. Well that's all for now, I could use some real live experiences and encouragement.

Eye patch for sleeping.

I have eyelash issues, I have alopecia and it affects my right eyelashes, so they are always falling out in my eye, curling in my eye, I have always rubbed my right eye so much cause it was so bad. So I had my right eye done, left eye was 6 months ago, and it's been a pain. I have to go every few days to have the Dr. pluck the ones in the corner of my eye, he says they are also in the tear duct area, that little mound of flesh. Anyway, my eyelashes are always catching on the guard, then I have to remove it, tape it back, I will likely wear it to sleep for a couple more months, cause I know I will rub it when I'm sleeping, I try to get in the tape when I'm sleeping. I can't find one that is deep enough to not touch my eyelashes, I've tried a few of the clear plastic ones on Amazon, they don't work. Anyone out there have this issue, have long lashes, can suggest something that I can tape on and will work? Thanks.

Never-ending issues since last Tuesday.

  • Purchased/using a 4th Gen Tablo with a 4-tuner DVR.
  • Uses over-the-air (OTA) antenna channels only.
  • Problems began suddenly after previously working correctly.
  • Live TV started freezing, especially:
    • During commercials.
    • Then jumping ahead after unfreezing.
  • Numerous scheduled recordings began failing.
  • At one point:
    • TV app showed 127 failed recordings.
    • Phone app showed 0 failed recordings for the same account.
  • Trying to view failed recordings on the TV app produced:
    • "Unknown Error."
  • After reinstalling the TV app:
    • It initially showed a blue screen.
    • Eventually loaded again.
    • Still reported 127 failed recordings.
  • Scheduled recordings disappeared.
  • Only one scheduled recording remained after troubleshooting.
  • You had to manually recreate your recording schedule.
  • Live TV channel list became incomplete.
  • Some channels were completely missing from the Live TV guide.
  • During scans:
    • Missing channels still appeared during channel scan.
    • They showed full green signal strength.
    • Yet they did not appear afterward in Live TV.
  • Guide updates repeatedly failed or appeared to do nothing.
  • You repeatedly clicked Update Guide, but nothing happened.
  • Eventually one guide update finally started.
  • After updating:
    • Missing channels still did not return.
  • Later:
    • Channels eventually came back.
    • Recording schedules largely did not.

Channel Issues

  • All expected channels were detected.
  • Channels never actually disappeared from scans.
  • Every channel remained checked/enabled.
  • You confirmed they had never become unchecked on their own.
  • You tried:
    • Unchecking channels.
    • Saving.
    • Rechecking them.
    • Rescanning.
  • Even after this:
    • Channels still were not visible in Live TV.
  • Later the channels finally returned.

Guide Issues

  • Guide information appeared inconsistent.
  • Guide updates sometimes would not start.
  • Channels existed in scans but not in the guide.
  • Scheduled recordings tied to those channels disappeared.

Troubleshooting You Performed

  • Restarted Tablo.
  • Rescanned channels multiple times.
  • Updated guide multiple times.
  • Unchecked all channels.
  • Saved changes.
  • Rechecked channels.
  • Performed another scan.
  • Waited for guide updates to finish.
  • Reinstalled the TV application.
  • Exited and reopened the TV app.
  • Verified channels remained selected.
  • Confirmed signal strength was good.

Support Interaction

  • Contacted Tablo Support.
  • Support escalated the issue.
  • Their recommendations included:
    • Unchecking channels.
    • Saving.
    • Rescanning.
    • Updating the guide.
  • You followed all of those instructions.

Current Status (based on what you've told me)

  • Channels are back.
  • Signal appears normal.
  • Guide updates are completing.
  • Most scheduled recordings are gone.
  • You are currently recreating recordings manually.
  • The TV app previously reported 127 failed recordings while the phone app reported none.
  • The root cause still appears unresolved, despite following Tablo Support's troubleshooting steps.
  • Last recording, only 12 minutes.

Wallflower Plugs

I've been buying these for a few years, but they rarely work, like 1 out of 10 times. Are these usually so bad? Sometimes they work so well, like you can smell it all the time, especially when coming in the room, or house, so I try to buy the ones that work, but then they don't work the next time. Is it the refills or the pugs?

Keeps flickering in and out.

I don't know what's happening, It's in around 6-11 seconds. I have good service, everything has been fine for weeks, antenna is picking up great signals, but now everything I watch keeps flickering in and out. I cleared all caches, reset, unplugged, I have not factory reset, I'm hoping I don't have to. The same issue happened last night with everything that was recorded.

Rescan channels discrpancy

I noticed that when I rescan on my TV in the Tablo app, and when I rescan on my phone, in the Tablo app, the dots after the channels are not the same. I don't understand because Tablo, and my TV are both wired to T-Mo Fiber. I've been wondering why my shows are so pixelated when the phone shows strong reception, and now I see the TV is not the same. Am I doing something wrong?

Libre 3+ Signal lost

I don't usually have this issue, but my current sensor, and the last one keeps saying Alarm unavailable and signal lost, then within some seconds the reading comes on. It does this like 4 out of 10 times, and the app is really laggy. I've restarted the app, phone, cleared cache, but it keeps doing it, in fact the lag is getting worse. Would an uninstall/reinstall work, cause I really don't want to do that.

I have the newest version Fire TV Stick 4K Max, I guess it updated today, thought I could control the updates. Anyway, it changed the sound the remote had, it used to click, now it's kind of a low ding, I do not like it. I know, for most it would be a non-issue, I have sensory issues. Any way to change it back?
