Currently running a Topping 90D/Modious and I just ordered the Hifiman HE1000SE. I’m thinking about either adding the Buf and trying a couple different tubes or picking up a Valhalla 3. I know the SE is a lower impedance headphone so I’m not sure what will be the better route.
Returned my Organics and ordered these immediately. What amp/dac would you pair with these?
Been out of the hobby for a while, just ordered the HE1000 SE. I’m currently using an A90D/Modius. I’m thinking about picking up a Pietus Maximus with the Sigma Delta DAC alongside my current setup. I’ve never heard tube amps before but was thinking about going that route? What would be something fun and different to try with the SE’s? Either just an amp or a amp/dac combo is fine. Looking to stay under $1,000 and fine with buying used. Gear will be used at home. Looking for something warmer without sacrificing quality.
I just returned the Arya Organics and am going to just get my end game and be done. Leaning towards the SE’s as I’ve heard them before and at $1,700 is a steal. Haven’t heard the Unveiled but I’m guessing it’s not $1,000 better.
Is it worth it doing an AIO in these cases vs air cooled? I’m currently running 7800X3D/4080S. My setup has been running solid for almost 2 years now, just getting that itch to tinker with it. Also doesn’t help that I’m going to Microcenter today.

Now what? Pay full price? Or 32” 4K alternatives for less? I sold my 34” 2k ultawide and want to go 4k.
