Am I pushing it?

After 2 years of considering IV ketamine, I’m finally convinced and now I’m eager to start. The thing is, I have a family reunion vacation coming up for labor day weekend.

My provider said the initial 6 sessions are doable if I start this Wednesday, or Friday the latest. So I’m looking at Wed and Fri this week, Mon Wed Fri of next and the following Monday for the 6th session (or that Wednesday… I leave on Thursday 9/3).

This sounds intense, but I’ve read this is pretty normal. I’m worried though about side effects and mood going into this trip.

Have you all noticed that after the 6 initial sessions, things have at least settled? I know there’s no way to really tell, but what’s the worst case scenario? I definitely don’t want that trip ruined, but I wonder what is the likelihood of a positive outcome (or at least neutral) after 6 sessions at this pace.

I’d appreciate any personal anecdotes and/or advice.

Tips on timing for waking up motivated?

I've been on 450xl for about a year now. It was pretty consistent and did well for me. Honeymoon phase had me waking up feeling good and energetic. That leveled out but morning were still more manageable than before the bup.

I had a switch of manufacturers (to Granules which was terrible) that's thrown things off for about 5-6 weeks. I then found a pharmacy with bup from Teva/Activis which was the best option I could find. Only been 10 days on that one so I'm probably jumping the gun here, but holy shit there's just no motivation to get up. If I let myself, I could sleep till noon or later, no problem. It's almost like right around 8am is when the good sleep happens. I try to get up but my eyes are heavy and all I want to do is stay in bed.

TL;DR - I'm considering taking the 150 part just before falling asleep in hopes it helps me spring out of bed, rather than the full 450 in the morning. Other than that, y'all have any tips, ideas, suggestions to help with this? I really need my mornings and energy back.

Help! Crush washer question… beginner here.

Geez, I can’t find a straight answer. All I find is that crush washers should go flat side to the bolt, round or bevelled side to pan. This crush washer for 2013 GLI seems round on both sides. Only difference I can tell is that one side seems slotted (like in photo). If I had to choose which side is “flatter”, then I guess this slotted side might be it but seems round to me.

Generics: RISING worked for me and was switched to GRANULES... what a terrible difference

TL;DR: If Rising was working for me (I know it's hit or miss for many), should I continue with that or is trying Accord, Epic, or one of the more reputable ones, worth it?

For context, Rising worked well overall but once it leveled out, I felt like I needed a little more. I was maxed out at 450. Been on BUP for 15 months now and glad I’m on it.

My pharmacy made the switch to Granules recently. Started with the 150mg, then fully on my next 300 refill (I take 450 XL). About a week into the mixed 300 Rising and 150 Granules, I felt more fatigued but didn’t think much of it. Now 2 weeks into all Granules and I just don't think this is working like before. I am definitely stopping Granules asap.

I'm looking into other pharmacies, searching for Accord, Epic, etc. I know Amazon lets you choose so I may go with them. I already called around locally, got a lot of scigen and lupin.

Humming / Howling sound at around 3k RPM, goes away when AC is off

2013 GLI. Been noticing a howling sound that starts around 2k rpm and gets louder as it gets to 3k. If I go beyond that, the normal engine sound starts to take over so I can't tell if it's still doing it.

I thought it was an aspiration problem but this week I noticed it stops if I turn AC off. Fan only, no noise, just AC. No dash lights or warnings. It's also felt sluggish but that may just be in my head since I'm avoiding higher rpms.

Only other thing is a rough idle, sometimes. I think the howling started around that same time. Rough idle hasn't happened at all this week though so it's kinda random. Any ideas? Anything specific I should check?
