Just saw this on IG (being suggested ads from all the JP related searches again) this would fit right in with the cyberpunk aesthetic?

It was actually really crowded when I visited, didn't know there was going to be a city pop music event today. Nice thing was you could pre-order signed prints here too :)
Used long exposure time to get the ultramarine between the image and the bg, like a double exposure
And it was just fun to setup, happy weekend everyone :)
First time posting here, it's awesome to see all the cool toys and amazing setups!
*the 3rd pic is how look when I see all the awesome photos :)
From a maker of really pretty inks no less . . .
It's a page from the book, Illustration and Perspective in Pantone Colors, by industrial designer Eiji Mitooka and Don Design, published in 1988.
That workspace with the primary colors would have been awesome!
Very Akira vibes and had to get it :)
Found a Pilot Custom 743 SFM for 50 usd while thrifting.
TLDR:
Was out thrifting with my partner for vinyls, as always I will keep an eye out for any interesting pens, and found lots dubious montblancs and some dried out ballpoints. On the opposite end my partner spotted the good stuff today.
My partner is somewhat familiar with the pens that I look for and called me over to take a look at some cigar shaped pens, at first I was very sure they were just some more montblanc dups, then I spotted the word "custom" on one of the caps. At first I was terrified when opening the cap as I was fully expecting someone to have stolen the nib, but lo and behold the size 15 nib was there bit inky bit all there.
Bringing it to the counter as there was no price tag, the seller did a once over the pen and reminded us it is real 14k gold and asked for 50 dollars, I think that was the quickest I paid for something. (Got a cool vinyl that was illustrated by Hiroshi Nagai as well)
Did a quick rinse to make sure the nib is fine, it had an old cartridge inside and no converter, the cap on the body is bit loose but the gold colored ring is still there.
The date codes on the nib is B1098 assuming this means it was manufactured in October of 1998?
Long time lurker first time posting, was browsing some vinyls when I found this beauty!
This is the first time I heard about this place, all thanks to youtube's random algorithm.
Spending a day here would be so lovely :)
Matsuya Fountain Pen Hospital
Edited because in my excitement I forgot to add the name of the shop
Saw someone 3d printed a typhoon class nuclear submarine as a pen holder and I tried it too!
And the closest fountain-pen that I have that looks as slick as a missile is definitely my Pilot Myu :)
Which one of these belong on a table?
*was just really surprised with the flood of watches here. . .
First of all I'm not affiliated with Sailor, and these prices are in Thai Baht!

My colleague just sent me this post from Sailor thailand (I was just there not too long ago for business and won't be back anytime soon @.@)

Seems Sailor is having a warehouse sale in bangkok between 26th - 30th June, the last time I missed the build your own fountain pen event in bangkok too

*wallet is happy but curses why timing is so bad @.@
**details on the 2nd last image and original text is the last image
Had this Gundam popcorn bucket near my desk and discovered it can hold my fountain pen too

It has quite a bit of space in the back, will see if I can find a better spot on my desk, will store some bottles of ink inside him as well 😀
Got the Godzilla minus-one art vignette banpresto from my last trip to Tokyo, finally had time to take some photos :)

The last photo was just plain fun >..<
Left: Sailor 1911 L Maroon (M)
Right: Sailor PGS Shikiori Manyou (EF)
And: Kiwami Writing Mat

I usually pair them like this because it allows me to format my notes / writing with headers and detail notes when needed :)

The transition between a nice wet M to a nice pencil-like EF feedback is rather interesting, it does take a while to get used to.
