Using Signal at work 🙏🏻

I think I have a very unique problem. I say that because I've searched and couldn't find anything.

I don't have cell reception at my work so I have to use the company wifi. Signal used to work just fine until recently. Now when I try to send a message, the sending circle spins and spins until I leave work and am back on a cell tower. I'll also get notifications from Signal saying I may have new messages, but nothing's ever there when I open the app.

I asked the head of IT about it - thinking the IP addresses Signal uses might be blocked but she said it's not on their ban list.

I also use Beeper on my phone as an aggregator when I don't feel like shuffling apps. It's very convenient to have access to everything on my personal computer in one place. The weird part is that the Signal bridge in Beeper works perfectly fine at my work... But Signal won't. Why???

I could just say to hell with it and use Beeper exclusively, but I really don't like the interface.

I do run a VPN on my phone because my data is none of my work's business. I have split tunneling to exclude both Beeper and Signal. I thought that might've been the issue, but even with the VPN on, Signal won't work, but Beeper does 🤷🏻‍♂️

To further complicate the issue, Signal works at my office if the VPN is completely off. But Signal used to work at my office with the VPN set to split tunneling until recently.

Any ideas?

I have a Samsung S25U running Android 16/OneUI 8.5. My VPN is Windscribe which is the only one I can get to work at my office. I've tried a bunch of others but they all seem to be on the company's ban list.

DM issues in Instagram

Why can't I mark DMs in IG as read? When I log-press a message, there is no option.

Is there an option I need to switch somewhere?

patch YT Music to include sort by title?

Is there a way that YouTube Music can be patched to allow sorting within a playlist to by title? It's such a basic feature and it's frustrating that it's currently limited to "manual, top voted, newest first, newest last". It's the only feature I need that's keeping me from permanently switching.

How do I disable bluetooth autoplay???

I've searched this subreddit and couldn't find an answer, so I apologize if this has already been discussed.

I just purchased a used 2015 RX350 and am enjoying it. But the bluetooth autoplay feature is driving me crazy and I don't know how to disable it.

I have a Samsung S25U (Android 16/OneUI 8.0) and every time I start my car, it autoplays whatever app I've recently had open. Some of my apps have a disable autoplay option which I've already turned off. But some apps like Spotify, YouTube, YouTube Music, and AntennaPod don't have the option - that I could find.

I've also noticed that if I close out of everything, open an app like DuoLingo so I can practice, turn up the volume so I can hear it better, Spotify or another app will automatically start playing OVER DuoLingo!

I've tried following some routine tutorials for Tasker and MacroDroid with no luck.

Does anyone have a suggestion? I'm open to trying anything. I'm also not tech illiterate so I should be able to confidently follow directions.

Thank you for any help you can send my way 🙏🏻
