House sitting at my boomer parents house and they have cable, CNN is unrecognizable, I didn't know it was this bad

I'm not commenting on any political content, I'm not saying anything is better, but in the 90's CNN taught you about the world. Maybe this is obvious to some, but God damn this channel serves no purpose anymore.

Edit: some of you really got riled up on this. For 20 plus years I've lived without this garbage and my parents use cable to watch sports, not the news, thank God or the spaghetti monster in the sky. I was just flabbergasted at how bad it is. I knew it was bad, I had just actively avoided it. Check in with your parents, I don't need advice, they might.

Are there better options of places to re-home a pet other than whs or madacc I the Milwaukee area?

I have a personal reason why I can no longer take care of my dog. I have cancer. My 3 young girls love him as much as I do, he's a 1.5 year old puppy white fluffy mix coming in at 10 lbs. Up to date on rabies and shots etc. house broken. He may need to work on manners but he knows crate when I leave and he can push a button to ask for water. We were just about to add more. Got him from a shelter (madacc) and cannot imagine taking him back to one. He plays well with other dogs that play well, but needs to be held back from aggressive dogs, and people who don't like dogs. Does need regular grooming. Plays well with my girls but I've seen toddlers be iffy because he does jump and they are little people.
