As I was leaving Vow, I opened a gift box. An engine popped out..............and slid right out the door as the ship took off. Just like a mimic would. Goodbye engine! 🙄 I've never had it happen before - has it happened to you?
I turned at the right time to see him "hide" As long as his head is hidden, you can't see him. 😜 I had to walk left before he realized I could.
I am not a great bee snatcher but if it is in the right place, I'll try it. So I was on Assurance and there was a bee hive by the fire exit ladder, near some rocks. I tried to make them swarm but no matter which side I went on, they didn't leave the hive. So I crouched and got closer - closer until I got the prompt. I grabbed it and the bees flew up and I ran, but they never followed. Wish I could get that glitch more often.
I've gotten giants on Assurance twice today. Too bad he couldn't jump the train to my rock. 😝 Both days I also had early dogs - like around 2:00.
I received a letter from someone from my past. I know he wants to reconnect hoping for more than just a friend status. My impression from the past is that he is an "A" type personality and am wondering if the all caps reflect this?
Spiders have changed. Or I hadn't dealt with them like this before and they were always this way.
I literally had a spider chase me from more than half way in the facility all the way to the main doors. I went back in and traced my way back (single item day with a loaded all the way to the back locker room) Met a bracken on the way and passed the spider in a stairwell. Go to the locker room with the spider now chasing me. Went ring a round the rosey in the middle 5 times, went up the stairs with it following me. As soon as I jumped down the farthest from the stairs, it instantly turned and started down the stairs. I of course, forgot about the bracken and was killed trying to get at least two magnifying glasses out. The spider has a relentless homing path! 😫
He wanted to join the circus but his dad said you have to go into the loot business.
Pulled the apparatus on Experimentation and the robot activated. It jetted to the pipe and then walked all the way from the facility to past my ship. Easiest walk back to the ship.
I hardly go in far when I find it. Too many times of dying or getting lost. And an added bonus - steam.
When I got out of the facility I heard bees but didn't see a hive. Fortunately I made it back even tho the bees were flying around. Maybe it was because of the update, but they didn't even show the electrical discharges as they flew. And they moved very fast, very very fast. I checked the monitor as they were angrily attacking the ship, but there isn't an indicator of mass of killer bees right outside the ship. I think there should be a roaming indicator for them.
All in all it was very strange.
