Found it! I can finally open the armory door :D

I've been working on a replica of the S.T.A.R.S. badge from the game and I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's got a working USB built in, just like the one you plug into the armory door terminal. Everything is designed and 3D printed by me.

Can't get pass the identity verification because can't enter ID

I have to enter the ID (DNI = 8 numbers + 1 letter). They even show the format before writing it. However they don't let me write any letters. How does this make sense at all 🤔

https://preview.redd.it/ab9nevb69zeh1.png?width=1125&format=png&auto=webp&s=d6c7b329dcd68c1530ea13413aca63da0ffe6ae8

They show the letter under the numbers in the keyboard but even if I keep the number press or if I copy the ID and try to paste it, it does not work. No letter can be written in that input.

Has anyone experience this?

How would you approach designing this curved surface in Fusion 360?

Hi everyone!

I've been using Fusion for a while, but I've mostly worked with simple curved surfaces.

Now I want to try designing this element:

Video that shows it better: https://youtu.be/jjMlIieYWlk?si=M5iMt75yBTsjfxgN&t=142

I'm a bit lost on how to approach something like this. If it were flat, no problem at all, but I'm not sure how to tackle that smooth curved surface. Any advice, or good tutorials I could follow to get something like that?

Thanks a lot!

Imagine finding all of these in one room… and every single one has a different combination

Was just building stock and when I saw them all together I thought… solving one is fun. Solving eight in a row? That's a nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone. 😅

EDIT: since many of you have been asking where I'm selling these, you can find them in Etsy, I have been selling them there for a while: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1650654391/resident-evil-2-remake-portable-safe
Feel free to ask anything you want to know about it :D

[OC] Relax, you are safe now: I made the Ink Ribbon from RE1 Remake with sound!

I love this save room theme song so I've been working on this for a while. The best companion when playing the game :D
It is available in my Etsy shop if anyone is interested: https://geekcraft3dshop.etsy.com/listing/4493601247/resident-evil-1-ink-ribbon-save-room

I made available a special 20% discount code for this subreddit: REDDITRE

I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it :D

It seems like Aliexpress requires verification to show adult content now, but I don't understand why it is flagging so many random items "adults only".
If I search for a scrapper, some of them are blurred out while other are not.
This makes no sense at all

Hello!!

I'm buying some mini speakers for my electronics project and according to the seller, the connector type is ZH1.25:

https://preview.redd.it/6bbifj3o45yg1.png?width=640&format=png&auto=webp&s=ef53145b96190a6b50e5df0db2d15da6d824b0e7

I have been searching in https://www.lcsc.com/ for a SMD component that I can use in my PCB that matches this connector, but I don't find any. Are they uncommon? Or am I not searching properly?

I've filtered by the "ZH" series in the "Headers, Male Pins" category but the only pitch available is 1.5 mm

Am I missing something? Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks!
