Feeling low
Lots changing and I'm feeling low about it. Do gay guys find slightly over weight 54 year old attractive? At 54 yrs old and 5'4", I'm having a hard time losing weight and have just started to embrace it.

Great visit with the barber today. Finally getting some fullness and can see the square shape coming in.
Barber appointment next week. I decided I needed growth under more of my chin. That's why it looks like I need to shave there. Whatchs think so far?
Im 54 and only ever had stubble or a tiny bit longer beard. Im thinking I'm going to dive in and figure this all out
After discussing with ChatGPT, we came up with my goal look. Ill reply with a photo of where my growth is currently.
EDIT TO POINT OUT MORE CLEARLY - these three shots in one image are AI generated. This is my goal. My current look is below in the comments.
Im having difficulty in getting MPG over 30 in all city driving. I have a 2026 Hybrid Limited and usually keep it in ECO driving mode. I usually drive about 10 miles at a time. Everything is close to where we live. My MPGs stay around 28. Now, this is the vehicles calculations, but i just expected better.
I recently got a 2026 Tucson hybrid limited and it came with Cross Rails (Dealer Install). Does anyone know whether or not these affect MPG or not? Also, anyone remove them? I don't like the look of them, and if they affect my MPG I definitely want to remove them. But I think I could live with the look if they don't.
Finally. My Tucson Hybrid Limited. I love the deep sea dark blue with gray interior. It will take a bit to get used to the hybrid stuff. But, so far so good. Im the short fella. 😎
I'm going in next week to sign for a Tucson Hybrid Limited that is In Transit at the moment. Delivery date states June 2nd. I'm very excited, have done all my homework, even drove the 50 miles to this dealership to put $1000 deposit to hold this vehicle.
My question to you all is have you ever dealt with the Resistall Protection package? This dealership uses this protection package 'on all the cars'. It is supposed to protect paint/seats/carpets, etc. and comes with a warranty that covers things Hyundai warranty doesn't.
My dealer actually told me if I wanted, I could pay out-right for this package and it would be around $2400. I sort of see some benefit of it, especially the warranty, but not for this price. I am thinking of offering to pay $1000 for it, if they could lower the price.
Any thoughts on this out there? I'm in Louisiana, and will be carrying a dog with me at times. The weather and the pet are why I'm thinking of getting this.
EDIT-UPDATE: Thanks everyone. I'm going to decline the package!

Are these trades really difficult? I've had two dealerships working on obtaining a 2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited, Deep Sea/ Gray combo all week. Apparently there are only 5 in a 500 mile radius and neither think they can secure one.
2026 Tucson Hybrid Limited AWD — Deep Sea / Gray interior
Finally locked in my deal after about 2 weeks of research and negotiating between multiple dealers.
MSRP: $44,525
Selling price: MSRP (very limited inventory — only about 5 within 500 miles)
Financing: 0.99% Hyundai Motor Finance / 60 mo
Trade: 2019 Altima 2.5 SV @ \~$11k trade allowance
Additional concessions:
* Removed $375 cross rails accessory
* $500 Hyundai military incentive
Dealer had to do a dealer trade from Auburn, AL to Baton Rouge, LA.
I pushed pretty hard on pricing at first, but once I realized:
* inventory was genuinely scarce
* there was no markup above sticker
* no forced protection package
* and they honored 0.99%
…I focused more on maximizing trade value instead.
Honestly pretty happy with how it turned out.
I am planning to get the Limited Hybrid at the end of May. Went looking at them this past weekend. The interiors were either black or what I would call white. Dealer said it was gray, but I swear it was super lighter than the gray on their website. Does anyone have 1st hand knowledge on this?
