I feel like every time I see a vintage Sinn I fall in love. What are some favorites I might not have heard of? (BTW, this is an 8827 Ti, one of my loves.)

Hi. Amazing respect for what y’all do—I’m not like you; I’m just too hamfisted. That said, I want a watch that doesn’t exist, so I’m trying to make it. I’ll spare the details, but I need a design printed on a dial, and then that dial and a set of hands lumed. Does anyone have a recommendation for a place that does this? I found Sundiale in Australia, but I’m in New York.

Also, I’m going to try this myself first (I bought a few dials) but the dials I bought are too big by about 0.5mm, and I can’t find a place that sells a 28mm matte black dial for a 2824-2. So I guess my ideal shop would be one that can modify the dial in that way as well.

I came here to sell things and then read the rules that I can’t sell things here. So I’m not gonna, but I’m wondering if there’s somewhere besides eBay where people sell watchmaking parts? I’m also asking because I need to buy some parts and the usual retail channels are letting me down. Thanks in advance.

Randomly found this on eBay—my first military watch—and feel like I got lucky to source a NOS model. I don’t know much about issued watches in general, but from what I have learned online, the watch this was based off would have been sold in a PX? If anyone knows about these, I’d love to learn more.
