Worst manager I’ve ever had at any job ever and need advice

Basically the title. I work for a top 4 national bank in a pretty slow branch in a small city. My manager has no prior banking experience and has been on the floor for just over a year. In that time, she has driven out two extremely talented bankers who’ve been with the company for 7-9 years, one quit and the other transferred. We had a teller only make it a few months under her, and another banker also only made it about 5-6 months under this manager.

She is extremely manipulative, argumentative, hypocritical, and combative. She never considers that she could be wrong and takes feedback extraordinarily poorly. On a regular basis, she will write up branch employees for correcting her when she’s wrong. We also have several Spanish speaking bankers who will speak Spanish to each other, and she’s now starting to write them up for speaking Spanish to each other. She’s that insecure that she needs to be able to hear and understand the conversations her employees have with each other.

Collectively, we have submitted around a dozen different HR complaints about her over the course of the last 6 months and nothing has come of it. We’ve also been in contact with our ethics department for the same reasons and have heard very little back. Ideally I’d like to take it to the district manager but he’s the one that hired her in the first place and is already aware of the HR complaints we’ve logged. What other steps can I possibly take? I truly like my job as a universal banker but she makes it miserable for all of us.

Nearing purchase of 2026 Sport-L AWD. Hidden pros and cons?

I’ve done a ton of research on the car and driven it once at the dealership. Are there any things that I should know about that aren’t talked about as often?

Examples
- just recently found out there’s no TPMS in this vehicle which is insane to me but I guess I’ll survive
- any other features that are hidden and nice to have, or missing and you can’t believe it’s missing?
- I know there’s no spare, that’s talked about plenty
- would also love to know any reliability issues from first-hand owners and their experiences.
- I’m coming from a 2017 Acura that has TPMS, wiper fluid alerts, lane keep and lane departure, etc.

Thank you!

Super minor but is this easily fixable myself?

2023 Honda HRV. I was an idiot and left my phone on top of the tailgate and it got wedged between the roof and the tailgate. Messed up my phone screen but more worried about the car since it isn’t mine. Best way to go about it? Appreciate any advice.

How much to put down vs finance on a new car?

Seen a couple of similar posts but wanted to get some more opinions.

My wife and I are starting to look into purchasing a new vehicle, not in the immediate future but within the next 6-12 months I would guess. The vehicle we are looking at has an MSRP right around $50k. We currently have about $70k in cash in CDs and HYSA that could be spent on the vehicle which would leave $20k as an emergency fund if we were to purchase the vehicle outright.

I understand that paying cash for the whole thing may not be in my best interest if the auto loan rate I can secure is lower than stock market returns. However, that’s definitely a gamble and market returns are not guaranteed as we know. Personally, I’m torn. I hate the idea of having a car payment as I’ve never had one before, but I also hate the idea of cutting our savings balance by ~70%. What factors am I missing or not considering? Most of all, I despise the idea of putting down a small amount and carrying a massive car payment; that, I absolutely will not do.

Older Canadian bills!

Don’t expect these to have any value above face but cool to have them in hand! Born and raised in Canada and never saw any of these while I lived there.

Gas pump?

Gas pump error significant enough to be worth more than face? I have a full strap’s worth ($100) uncirculated straight from the BEP.

Haven’t had a chance to weigh them yet but I know the Morgans especially are very commonly counterfeited. Looking for opinions on authenticity and if real, approximate value (premium over melt)? Thanks in advance, brought in by customer to exchange for bills (I was not the teller, I’m not sure my conscience would’ve let me accept these for face)
