I remember back in the day this team existed, is it even worth using it still?
for reference, I don’t have iansan and my kinich is c1r1, I do have durin and nicole but normally use them on varka, so I wanted to keep my kinich alive and I got citlali mainly for mavuika but… my mavuika is c0r0
i’m assuming is not even worth the hassle and I should just replace kinich with kachina or sucrose and focus on mavuika melt I guess
seeing as how yae is looking more and more mandatory (not the word but you get what I mean) and considering she gets a free C1, it might be better to pursue her over R1 -also I don’t think I have use for citlali’s R1 unless I give her to yae but is one or the other
so looking at my current weapons, no mailed flower, no thousand suns, although I do have redhorn but use it on mavuika (but without citlali nor overload maybe she also doesn’t need it), no wgs and not enough billets to make a r5 tidal shadow -my only one might just be unforged, which is basically barely over her 4* options anyway (without a shield)
enter zhongli: since I would be using sandrone with yae and c6 qiqi, I really wouldn’t need a shielder but seeing as how unforged already needs a shield, and zhongli shreds both cryo and electro (I don’t have escoffier nor xilonen either), do you think it would be viable? he would be on a 2hp/2hp build as I don’t trust him to use tom reliably but wouldn’t be too much of an issue -or do you think I should just play c6 beidou instead for the extra electro hits?
Spiral Abyss with lunar quickbloom alhaitham and premium varka (8 cost). If i’m being honest, I find it hilarious that I can make so many misplays and still clear with time to spare, power of money I guess!

what would you consider to be a better option between a c0r1 c6 qiqi/c6 diona/c6 beidou team vs c0r0 c1 yae miko/c6 qiqi/4th slot (no escoffier either)?
ok so testing my varka in the dummy I decided to see how would my dmg increase if I fixed durin’s build to get 20% more cdmg and then I thought: well, what if I add 300 more atk to all and simulate nicole’s C2?
the result, was roughly a 12k increase, but i’m not sure if that’s right as it is of course “buffing” durin and prune from the beginning, before they even get the first actuall buff from nicole, and also is helping prune ramp her buff faster as she starts with a higher base atk so the damage increase might actually be lower -and yet it is not accounting for the shreds
it got me thinking if it is actually worth the shot to try and get c2 nicole at all, as I’m already debating if I should just save for sandrone, but on the event of a rerun would I even want to get her or better to just keep investing on varka? my nicole is c1r1 btw

yes, I had to resort to brute forcing angel with kinich. yes, fischl is there just for the two star mechanic. long live my green dps’ 😭
I know i’m still a few talents away from max, cdmg could be better, need more ER and lv90 but is this dps good for the team or should it be higher?

anyway, the thing is I was farming VV sets, and only decided to start refining them this patch, so my prune ended with that amount of ER and now the following questions arise…
1- I was originally gonna use fav codex with her for the ER and stuff but since I don’t seem to need it -durin doesn’t care much about energy and nicole is R1- I wonder what weapon should I use instead:
should I stick to codex and try to get flower/feather with atk rolls? or should I just go with flowing purity (no oathsword and I don’t think need the extra ER it gives either) for the higher base atk? maybe I should do ttds even if lower base for a higher buff since I don’t have c6 (yet) or would it be redundant since my durin is also R1 -and also does athame artis buff count towards prune conversion or not?
2- should I bother changing my hat for something with a bit of crit rate? or just forget it and stick to this sorry attempt of a build?
3- what should my rotation even look like now? haven’t tested cause still building (again, why did I not prefarm) but should I do:
a. durin EQE > nicole EQ > prune QEE > varka combo to max VV and use ttds even at the cost of one projection?
b. nicole EQ > durin EQE > prune QEE > varka combo to maximizd buffs on the whole party even at the cost of 2 projections?
c. durin EQE > prune QEE > nicole EQ > varka combo for the full projections even though there’s no other benefit because no ttds on nicole?

pretty much the title, kinda want others perspectives on the relationship between these charts
after looking at the new changes and stuff, something got me thinking
we obviously now that hoyo would like us to cash in for something like C2 nicole, but before today, it seemed weird that the team was overstacking so much shred with durin and VV also being on it
now, with today changes, is clear hoyo wants nicole Q to be used before our main dps, but that kinda creates conflict with VV uptime, and seeing how they kinda buff prune but also doesn't get buffed by nicole's E anymore, what if they want us to play prune with winds instead?
think about it: c0 durin + c2 nicole is 60% shred right? so VV is not really needed, while winds can help with prune's atk reqs while also buffing her off field dmg (since she is also a decent subdps) -am I too high or is this their possible intention? and how would this work for c2 skippers (just 35% shred instead)
