Restaurant to watch Mexico tomorrow

I have been in town since last night and plan to watch the Brazil/Norway game at the Zocalo fan zone. However, for the Mexico game, I would prefer to watch at a restaurant or somewhere I can sit since the crowds will be very large and I can get claustrophobic at times. How early should I go to a restaurant? Are there any restaurant recommendations in the centro area and will they be strict about how long we can stay in there?

I want to add that this is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to. I visited the Museo Nacional de Antropologia and enjoyed Chapultepec park on my way to the Castillo. I wish I had more time to explore the city but I will absolutely be back in the future for a proper trip!

¡Viva México!

Advice on clothing

I am flying in tomorrow evening and leaving Monday in the early morning. I know the weather gets cool at night and can rain. I plan on bringing a few pairs of jeans as well as futbol jerseys to wear throughout my trip. I do have great walking shoes as well. I plan on bringing a small umbrella and some disposable ponchos for the rain. Is there anything else I should bring or be prepared for?

Mexico v England fan question

I am visiting CDMX this weekend to enjoy the World Cup festivities and energy. I am an American Egyptian and will be wearing my red Egypt kit throughout the weekend to rep them. Now that England is playing Mexico, there is a chance they will be wearing red. I am going to be rooting for Mexico but will I be fine wearing red in the crowds?

Visiting for 3 days in July. Question about cash

I will be visiting Mexico City and staying in the Zocalo area for 3 days during the knockout stages of the World Cup. Have a couple of questions regarding currency and spending.

  1. I plan on using a credit card at restaurants/museums/establishments, and with Uber/Didi using a card, where should I anticipate needing to carry pesos?

  2. Roughly how much cash in pesos should I carry for the trip? I was thinking of coming with $2500.

  3. Is it best to have my currency converted by my bank prior to coming, doing it at the airport, or a bank-affiliated ATM in CDMX?

Thank you!

Looking for basketball or soccer leagues/pick up games

I am in my mid-30s and hoping to find some leagues or pickup soccer or basketball games in the Henderson area (or not far from it). Been wanting to play some sports for a while and hoping there are opportunities for this! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Best way to fix the trim beneath the bathroom vanity?

Long story short, the wife's AirPod fell off her ear in the bathroom and it perfectly bounced off the tile into a gap smaller than my hand and fell between the cabinet and the wall. The issue is that area is blocked off with wood. After hours of trying to get it with a magnet, I ended up having to break a hole through the trim that covers the bottom of the vanity by the ground. That was the only way I could see where it went and use a magnet to get it. This is what it looks like: https://imgur.com/a/8WrdQzf

Any tips or ideas to fill it in and make it look as normal as possible?

Best way to fix this?

Long story short, the wife's AirPod fell off her ear in the bathroom and it somehow perfectly bounced into the little nook on the side of the bathroom vanity. The gap wasn't big enough to even get my hand above and around that trim. After hours of trying to use different magnetic tools, I opted to break a hole through, which gave me enough space to see it and use a magnet to get it.

Wondering if there is a way to fix it and make it look as original as possible?

HHN-Express Passes Needed? Hotel Recs?

This will be my first time attending HHN at Universal. I am aiming to go on a Thursday, more than likely in September, because I heard that crowds aren't as big. Wondering if Express Pass is needed. I know prices aren't out but I have been looking at Universal Orlando's prices as tickets are on sale. I'm not sure how Universal Hollywood prices compare but Express Pass is fairly expensive.

Also will be coming from out of state and wondering about areas with decent hotels? I'm first going to look at the Sheraton and Hilton by City Walk but outside of that, are there any areas you recommend? I will have a car too.

Thanks!
