How my skincare survived the heat waves this summer

How my skincare survived the heat waves this summer

These are all my face products that can be refrigerated in a metal biscuits box. The sunscreens and ahas are stored still at room temperature.

It is quite refreshing to apply cold products on my face. Will definitely repeat it next summer.

I consider this collection minimal because it contains everything I need to my day/ night routine and I use every single one of them. If one of them will finish I'll need to buy a replacement. It contains:

* Hydrating toners: night/ day

* Vitamin C

* Alpha arbutin

* Retinal

* Eye creams: night/ day

* Peptides

I don't use all of them at the same time, but on rotation.

Panned 2 things from my night basket at the same time, and their replacements

It's so satisfying to finish my hands and feet products at the same time. I kept these two in my night basket along with other products, since these are the last steps of my self care routine before I go to sleep. It's a 2-3 minutes routine that helps me unwind.

I used a tube squeezer and it's very efficient to take all of the product out. I checked in the light to make sure they are empty :)))

Hit pan on my long lasting lipstick

This lipstick is so old but it is still so good. Good texture, smell, color. I thought I was done with it like a couple of weeks back and then pulled it back from the empties pile :))

I have a lip brush that helps me pan the hell out of it and I love it. I still have many uses here. It's the lipstick that keeps on giving ❀️ Luxe from Avon, in lustering nude I think.

Makeup collection organizer

I love love this organizer, it's from Sinsay and found a "you cannot refuse offer", it was like 2€.

I like the fact that all of my makeup products fit in it, are easy to see and easy to take and put it back in.

Having this, also helps me use them more.

Please don't make me list everything in here πŸ₯², I'm happy to list any of them if you have any questions. ❀️

Crazy color for summer 🧑🍊

I usually paint my pedi during summer with this color, but I gave it a try for mani too. I love it, I am not on holiday but at least my nails feel like they are. βœ¨πŸŽ‰

3 months empties & decluttered April-June βœ…

The trendy lipstick was awful, tired of hate panning it.

G&G vit C turned orange.

Tinted LRP expired.

Everything else is empty. πŸ’ƒπŸ™Œ

🌸 Q2 Empties 🌸

20 products. Most of these are empty, some expired, some I decluttered because they were horrible.

I didn't keep the single use face or hair masks because they are messy.

✨ - loved it. most likely I'll rebuy it

πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ - didn't convince me

πŸ˜– - hated it. won't rebuy

Many of these are staples for me, that's why there are many ✨.

Redken spray for hair was ok but I don't think I'll rebuy it since I have the olaplex hair oil which I find way better to apply on damp hair before drying it. This one was a freebie from Notino and I was happy to try it.

The tinted LRP sunscreen was very nice, I was mixing it with the hydrating UVMune for reaching my skin color. But it expired so, it's not worth it to pay full price for something that I will use only half way through. Same for the vitamin C from G&G. I might give this one another chance and try to keep it in the fridge, it turned orange otherwise and I used only half a bottle. Now I have the cosrx 13% - in the fridge πŸ‘.

Matte lips from trendy - horrible texture, won't rebuy.

The last photo - all containers I kept for traveling or sharing skincare with friends.

Back to black πŸ–€

One coat of this bad boy and the coverage is good enough for me.

Plus top coat - sally hansen insta dri

Kept it real and added a pic with and one without the cuticle oil. For me the difference is major 🫣

Came back from the Gym, fridge was not completely empty

Had a big lunch, so after the gym I had a light girl dinner.

That's just greek yogurt repurposed for dip and desert.

The dip has spring onion, dill and lemon juice. Didn't have enough bread so I also ate some pretzels.

Hope this qualifies, first time posting here. πŸ™Œ

Sparkling pink 🩷

Felt like using pink this time. I always reach out for one of: black, a shade of red, white or pink. What are the nail polish colors you reach out for the most?

12 years of henna and still going

I've started using henna on my natural hair (~mushroom brown) about 12 years ago. I am thinking of switching to another natural hair dye but not sure yet. Seeing how it turns out every time I remember how much I love this color.

The pictures are from the second day of dying in different lights. And there's also a before/after.

I've used Ellemental henna red which is πŸ’― natural. Is has as ingredients only: lawsonia inermis leaf powder. This time I also mixed in 2 tablespoons of aronia powder, but it didn't do much, I mean it looks quite similar to how it turned out in the past without it. Left the dye in for 2 hours +30 minutes since this is how long it takes me to apply it.

I've only rinsed it with water and applied some conditioner to the roots to make sure I remove the mud completely. It looks a bit orange thenfirst 2 days but after I apply shampoo it's all good.

My shorties have never been this long 🀍

I think the manucurist base helped with keeping them stronger, they have always been brittle.

Manucurist Base fortifiante

Bourjois let's get red(y)

Essie gel couture 2 top coat

It's 4/5 weeks since my last mani... Like whaat. I've been just trimming my nails, cleaning my cuticles and using the manucurist base coat. It was looking like a natural french and I was always delaying applying color because my nails were looking like okish.

But today I did not procrastinate anymore. Let's go πŸ‘

Palettes 2 months tiny update

Not a lot of progress, but it is most visible for the 2 pans I've already hit and also for the blush. 2 pans out of 17 colors. I guess it's still a good, considering I don't use them daily.

This motivates me to use them more often, since I love love the blush+ highlighter combo and some of the eyeshadows.

I have dry and sensitive skin, with some dark spots. I loved this sunscreen lately, although at first I thought I won't rebuy it. For the first 10 applications or so, this cream made my face sting a little on my cheeks, but only for a few seconds, then all was good. I am not a fan of the perfume either.

Now my skin fully accepted it and I have a nice glow for the entire day. I see some improvement in my melasma, although I don't know if I can say it was fully because of this one. I am also alternating retinal and aha in the evening.

Curious to see your opinions on it. It's a big πŸ‘ for me.

My gone in 60s beauty kit

If I need to go out the door like in a minute, I'll just curl my lashes and apply this combo on my lips. And it's chef's kiss🀌
