My sis in law sold me her computer and the password she said she gave me isn’t working. There’s no forgot password prompt and I’m completely unfamiliar on how to reset my password. Someone please assist me if you can!

I got a call from a mediator about debt I owe from 2019. They said I could settle, make high monthly payments or go to court. What do I do? They said they want to serve me and then I would need to go to court.
