I have decided to pursue a different academic path that is more aligned with my current circumstances and long-term educational plans. Therefore, I need to withdraw my enrollment po. 🥲
What’s the process of withdrawing po? Saan po pupunta? Matagal po ba ibalik yung requirements na naipasa ko na? And may babayaran po ba even if hindi pa nag s-start yung school year? TYIA!
Hello! I’m planning to enroll this week for dentistry, are they still accepting applications for their entrance scholarship? Worried po cause medjo late na rin 😓
Hi! May price list po ba kayo ng tf from 1st year to 6th year? 😓 TYIA!
For requirements lang po wixneixnex
Hello! I’m an incoming dentistry student. May policy po ba regarding hair color?
Hello pooo, initially I planned on taking notes nalang on my tablet and hindi na bumili ng binder/notebook. Pero now I’m thinking if may mga profs po ba sa dent na hindi nag a-allow ng electronics while nasa class? In that case, I would need to buy a binder po kasi. TYIA!
Hello! Bakit po dalawa yung process of enrollment? Sa admissions and then meron pa sa dent building? Isa ko pa pong concern is yung 5k minimum sa tf receipt. Nag apply po kasi ako for the top students entrance scholarship, so pag nag take effect po sya, wala na po sa 5k yung magiging tuition balance ko. Required po ba talagang 5k or do they make exceptions? TYIA!
What bag/backpack/tote would you guys reco for dent school? I fear it MIGHT be awkward to bring a big ahh bag during my first semester in dent school but I overthink I might have to bring a lot of materials soon and it won’t fit a small bag. What bag will I be able to use long term? TYIA!
Sa buong 6 years of dent, may time po ba na nirequire kayong bumili ng books?
Hello! May strict dress code po ba in terms of shoes? May ni rerequire po bang specific type ng shoes or any black shoes would do? TYIA!
After many considerations, I enrolled at OLFU dent instead of CEU (which had always been my first choice). I’m now regretting it because everybody around me is telling me that CEU is a better dent school. It feels really heavy, like I made the wrong choice. How do I deal with this?
For OLFU dent grads, how’s the job opportunities po? Are you doing well?
Can somebody tell me reasons why I shouldn’t take dent in ceu? Hahahaha
Hello! Mahirap po ba makakuha ng high grades? May nakaka PL po ba?
Kahit until 2nd year, is it possible?
If mag t-transfer po ako during my 3rd year, ma c-credit po ba yung grades and courses ko the past two years or magiging irreg na po?
Hello! Medj confusing lang po. June 2 kasi ang stated date sa email nila and yet June 5 naman sa Google Form. Alin po kaya ang tama? 😭
Saan po makikita or ina-announce yung mga need dalhin for the aptitude test? 😭
I passed exams in several state universities and even got accepted into my priority programs in some of them. But over time, I realized I no longer see myself thriving in that profession. What I truly want to pursue now is dentistry. The problem is that most state universities either do not offer the program or lack the budget and facilities that would fully support it.
What has been stressing me out lately is how people react when they ask where I plan to study and I answer that I’ll be enrolling at OLFU. Almost everyone seems shocked or confused, even an admin at olfu reacted the same way. It honestly makes me question my decision. People keep asking, “Hindi ka ba mag s-state u?” and the pressure from that question has been getting to me.
Sometimes I wonder if I’m supposed to be in a state university instead. If that path would sound more impressive, more practical, or somehow more “right” in other people’s eyes. But at the same time, there are things beyond prestige that I need to consider in choosing the path that is right for me.
Architecture and Dentistry had always been my top two choices. However, both programs have their pros and cons that I cannot weigh.
Choosing Architecture means I get to study at a State University, no stress over tuition. But choosing architecture also means I would study 5 years (with 2 years of apprenticeship) just to get a salary close to the minimum. Furthermore, aren't there more architects than job opportunities in the philippines?
Choosing dentistry would probably be better in the long run. It has better job opportunities in comparison to architecture. However, dentistry is very expensive. I would have to worry about scholarships for the entirety of my 6 years in dent school.
I could enjoy both architecture and dentistry on the same level, which is why I cannot make a decision based merely on interest. I just don't know what's more worthy. Is it to have it hard now in dent school (with all the expenses that comes with it) or later in architecture (less job opportunities, low pay).
