Two months ago this was a weekend project I built because nothing out there arranged my library the way I wanted it. I did not expect anyone else to care.
You did, loudly, and it changed what this thing is. Nearly every headline feature since the last update started as a comment or a bug report in this sub. Fusion support, merged rows, scrobbling, the catalog editor: none of that was on my list until one of you asked for it. This has stopped being my project and started being ours, and that is a strange and very good feeling.
Some of you went further than feedback and actually put money into it. That goes straight into a hosting bill that is real and growing, and more than that, it landed on a few nights where I did not much feel like opening the editor and then did anyway. I wanted to build those people something better than a line in a changelog.
So: six cover sets that only supporters can apply.
The first four rebuild themselves every night from whatever your collections are actually showing. That is the part a screenshot cannot show you. Your Marvel folder looks like your Marvel folder, and next month, when what you are watching has moved on, it will have moved with you.
The two Key Art sets go the other way, and they might be my favourite thing in the app right now: no montage, no filter, just the art the studio actually made for the thing. Sourced textless so nothing is fighting the wordmark, across 160 folders spanning film and TV franchises, anime, studios, networks and streaming services, in both orientations, every one checked by hand.
There is also a supporter badge on your account, and a proper moment the first time it lands.
More supporter perks are coming. I would rather ship them than announce them, so that is all I will say.
If the email on your Ko-fi donation matches the email you sign in with, it is automatic. The badge and the sets are already there.
If you donated under a different address, which happens a lot with PayPal, open any supporter cover set and the app offers two ways in: re-check your status, or verify the donation email. Verifying sends a six-digit code to that address and links it permanently.
And if you donated a while back, send me a DM and I will sort you out. I only started properly logging donations part way through, so my records do not go back to the beginning. Some of you who gave recently already have access, so have a look first. But if you supported this at any point and you are not seeing the badge, that is a gap in my bookkeeping, not a judgement on you. One message and it is done, no receipts required.
Worth saying plainly: a donation email links to exactly one Xperience account. That is enforced in code, not just intended. It cannot be passed around, which means if you backed this, the badge on your account is yours specifically and nobody else is wearing it.
I am not going to make a big pitch. You know whether this has earned a place in your setup.
If it has, the Ko-fi link is below and it makes a real difference at this size. If it has not yet, tell me what is missing and I will look at it this week. Both of those move this forward.

Thank you for the over-17,000, and for being the reason this keeps getting better.
Thank you for the overwhelming amount of feedback. This is a sign the users of this community really care about the app and want to see it succeed.
That being said it is been a very busy weekend for me, but every single one of your feedback will be addressed very soon! (I read them all).
Thank you again for your ongoing support!
Note: Seinfeld avatars will be added very soon also ;)
Grateful for 13.8k users, with an average of 6,450 active every day!
I’ve been busy working through ALL of your feedback, and I’m honestly overwhelmed by the positive response. Xperience started just over a month ago, and seeing it compared so favorably with tools that have been around much longer means a lot.
I’ve let your feedback do the talking, and you guys have definitely made yourselves heard. This project is only getting started and will keep getting better.
The big updates first:
Also landed:

Feedback and bug reports are always welcome. Thank you for using Xperience and for continuing to shape what it becomes.

The big one first, the feature a lot of you have been asking for: dynamic covers.
Your collections and catalogs can now use artwork built from the titles actually inside them, and it refreshes on its own, no more static tiles going stale. Pick a style in the cover picker:
Each set also generates a matching, label-free backdrop for the hero area, so your home actually looks like a streaming app. Look for the new "Dynamic" badge (and filter) in the picker. (Screenshots below.)
Also landed since the last update:

One month ago today, Xperience went live.
I built it because I wanted a cleaner, better-looking way to browse and organize catalogs, and honestly I figured a handful of people might find it useful.
A month later, there are around 6,000 of you using it. I still don't quite have words for that.
I've tried to read everything: the praise, the "hey, this is broken," and the "can you please add…" It's shaped nearly every update. A few things people keep bringing up that mean a lot:
I want to be clear about one thing: this community is spoiled for choice right now. There are great tools out there and genuinely talented people building them. I'm not here to tell anyone to ditch what they love. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who took a chance on a brand-new addon in its first month.
As for what's next, a lot. A few things I'm heads-down on:
I'm shipping something every few days, and the roadmap keeps growing because of your feedback.
If you're using Xperience, thank you, sincerely. If there's something you wish it did, drop it below. I read everything, and there's a real chance it ends up in the app.
Here's to month two.

Another batch of updates landed on Xperience (the visual catalog builder for Nuvio — curate, style, and sync your streaming home with no JSON required). This is the biggest one yet, so here's the rundown.
Create catalogs with AI
You can now describe a catalog in plain English and Xperience builds it for you. "Mind-bending sci-fi from the last decade", "cozy mysteries for a rainy weekend" — type the prompt, preview the results before adding, and regenerate or tweak the prompt right from the editor if it's not quite right. It even names the catalog for you if you don't. AI catalogs live in their own section and drop straight into your home screen or collection folders.
There's also an "AI for you" row that recommends titles based on your taste, and it now properly skips everything you've already watched on Trakt.
AI search
Search doesn't have to be a title anymore. Ask for what you're in the mood for in natural language and it figures out what you mean. Regular search got smarter too: searching an actor or director now blends their filmography right into the results.
Home Layout
This one's been asked for since day one. You can now arrange your entire home screen exactly how you want it: drag any row anywhere, mix collections and catalogs freely instead of being stuck with fixed groups, and pin rows so your favorites stay locked at the top. The layout syncs across your devices.
Edit any catalog, per catalog
Every row now has its own editor: rename it, filter it by year, change the sorting, or shuffle it. No more one-size-fits-all rows.
Custom lists got a big upgrade
Quality-of-life
Try it

A lot of you, especially folks just starting out, asked for a proper walkthrough, or weren't sure how Xperience is actually different from AIOMetadata. So I built one.
There's now a full guide on the site. It's free and needs no login:
https://xperience-app.com/guide
What's inside:
- What Xperience is, and a clear side-by-side with AIOMetadata
- A 5-minute quick start
- The setup wizard explained step by step: every option, what it does, and the gotchas (the TMDB v4 key, poster providers, filters, collections, the install link)
- Dedicated sections for Settings, Avatars, and Badges
- A plain-English glossary and an FAQ / troubleshooting section
It also follows your app language, so it's available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and Greek.
If you've ever wanted to point a friend at Xperience but they found it confusing, this is the link to send them.
Feedback welcome: if anything in the guide is unclear, missing, or wrong, drop a comment and I'll fix it. Same goes for anything you wish it covered.
New here? Start with the guide, then ask anything below and we'll help you get set up.
Another batch of updates landed on Xperience (the visual catalog builder for Nuvio, curate, style, and sync your streaming home with no JSON required). Starting with the big one.
You can now paste any public Trakt or MDBList list URL and Xperience turns it into a real catalog. No JSON, no manifest editing.
This is the one a lot of you have been asking for. If there's a curated list out there you love, it's now one paste away from being a row on your home screen.
Reworked badge colors. You can apply a color to all your badges or just one group, the panel got redesigned with a live preview, there's a custom color picker now, and the swatch colors actually match what shows up.
New logomark cover sets for the Networks collection, and backfilled covers for the Decades, Anime, and World Cinema folders.

Quick follow-up to my last post. Here’s what’s landed since then.
Brand-logo cover-art sets. Carrying on from the cover stuff last time, there’s now a set that drops the actual brand logo onto your studio and streaming-service folders. Around 23 studios are covered so far (A24, Marvel, DC, Pixar, Studio Ghibli, HBO, Lucasfilm, Lionsgate, Universal, Warner Bros, Paramount, Sony, DreamWorks, Illumination…) plus the streaming services. Each one comes in a few treatments (clean glow, duotone, monogram, etc.) in both landscape and portrait, so a whole row of brand folders ends up looking consistent.
Simkl support. If you’re on Simkl instead of (or as well as) Trakt, you can now hook it up. Works account-wide or per profile, and you can have both connected at the same time. Connecting it adds a “My Simkl Plan to Watch” row and pulls your Simkl Completed history into the AI “For You” recommendations.
A few smaller things that also went in:
If you use Simkl, curious how that’s working for you and which studio logos you’d want added next.
