Creatine seems to be helping taper down

Hi,

This week I have tapered down from about 3-4 cups plus large energy drink to just 2 cups, while the second cup has less caffeine. I have been drinking water with creatine this week, throughout 3-5 hours in the afternoon. I think that's what made it easier.

I have not done anything else, in fact maybe my diet was not as good this week. No new supplements either except creatine.

Just wanted to share, since I didn't know this myself.

Treadmill substitute for apartment?

Hi,

forgive me if this is a silly question but what would you say is a substitute for a treadmill at home i.e. in an apartment. I used to do long walks on the treadmill, no running. While I walk outside each day. I still feel like I need to do more to lose 10 kg that I gained recently.

I have a pull up bar, a small convertible bench and also a lot of strong resistance bands.

Maybe it's walking in place? I am doing jumping over the bench back and forth while keeping both hands on the bench (standing parallel at the beginning with hands on bench). Is there any way I can simulate the same effect of a longer walk? Maybe some way to make it harder with bands?

Thank you.

Is it okay to do it this way?

Hi,

I'm wondering if it is healthy to do it this way: Fasting from 6 pm till 12 am next day i.e. 18 of dry fasting and then 2 hours of only consuming water and black coffee without sugar or milk. Then only eating during the hours of 2 pm till 6 pm.

What do you think about such an approach?

Just for clarity, I am doing it for health reasons such as decreasing inflammation and increasing BDNF in the brain. And for the focus and peace.

But also for some fat loss since I need to lose a few pounds.

How can I hypnotize myself to dislike it?

Hey there.

I am often wondering what I could do make myself hate Energy drinks as they are honestly a big barrier in my life.

But in a moment of weakness and tiredness I buy it.

Is there any sublimation, affirmations, EFT, hypnosis, imagery/visualization or anything like that that can help develop a dislike for energy drinks and coffee?

I used to drink coffee very moderately. Just one cup in the morning for 5 years or more. But then it started with energy drinks on top of that. And now it's energy drink, multiple coffees etc.

Is dry fasting really better for fat loss?

Hi,

I have about 10 kgs that I want to lose. I did a lot of fasting a couple years ago (for autophagy) and was really slim and trying to gain weight at that time actually.

Now, I am thinking of fasting for the weight loss.

I hear people say that dry is better for that but is it really, I mean for people who are just 10 to 15 kgs above their desired weight? I know people who weigh more lose weight easier, so maybe it's that just fasting in general led to weight loss and that became an anecdote?

Thank you!

Aging badly due to smoking. Is there any hope of restoring my appearance?

Hi,

I had lived a healthy lifestyle all my life and on a good day I felt blessed with my skin.

But I smoked cigarettes now for a year and a half and I don't recognize myself in the pictures. It has only been a year and a half but my looks suffered so much (maybe my skin is super sensitive to nicotine).

I'm wondering is there anyone who quit smoking and was truly happy with their skin and appearance again?
