I need help pointing in the right direction for flooding

I'm sorry, I'm a bit desperate on this one. I don't know who I should ask for help fixing my basement flooding. I tried r/diy (should have known better I guess), I asked in r/howto (also maybe known better), but I don't know what I'm looking for. I've done carpentry, cabinetry, handyman, minor plumbing, electrical, but I don't know where or who I should be looking for with my basement flood problems. Is it a plumber I should be calling or a foundational engineer expert or something? Can you guys just please point me in the right direction?

Help with water problems

I have plenty of experience in diy. I can frame, sheetrock, trim, paint, minor electric and plumbing. Currently work in cabinetry. But I have a basement that I really want to finally finish that still floods a couple times a year that makes it impossible yet. We fixed 2 of the problems, but there's still a trifecta I think where the drain pipe, water overflow, and ground just lets too much in and we get water under the crawlspace that leaks into the basement rooms I want to finish. Is it a plumber I should be calling for help here? Some kind of foundational water expert? I just need help finding the source of the overflow with a drainage solution.

Anyone season their flour in bulk at home?

As a fry cook in restaurants years ago, we would mix large batches of seasoned flour for chicken fingers, shrimp, fried chicken breasts. I have a deep fryer on my counter, but it's annoying to pull out all the seasonings every time I want to make coconut shrimp, onion rings, chicken tenders, or whatever else I use dredge for in a frying pan. I probably season it the same way 90% of the time anyway. There shouldn't be any drawbacks to seasoning like half a bag at a time and storing it that way, should there? As long as I label it and don't accidently make pancakes seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, and cayenne?

I can't run well yet, but I can balance now like a mother f***er!😁

5.5 months post-op, been doing this for 2 weeks! I hate that I still can't jog well for more than 2 minutes at a time, but just gotta keep working and practicing. I can balance now better than I could before I tore my ACL.

I'm hopping now!

Just a little update. Tomorrow I'm 5 months post-op, started jogging recently for 60, then 90 second intervals at 4mph, and today made it 2 minutes at 4.5mph a couple times with walking intervals. I'd already started small controlled hops in place on my own after my pt had me try them on a machine (kinda like a leg press sideways with less weight). Today, she had me do 12 full hops forward, back and forth 3 times down and back. Then side hops, then hopscotch side to side alternating legs. Exhausting, but so cool! I'm gaining so much more confidence in my strength and rehab now. Keep at it guys, it just keeps getting better!

4.5 month progress report

My surgeon's RTS protocol instructed my PT that I wasn't to jog or jump till at least 4.5-5 months post-op, so yesterday's session was the one I've been super excited for, but also a bit scared. I went in and asked if I was there yet, and she said I met the criteria, so we tried the treadmill first. At 4mph I lasted about 20 seconds, lol, before she asked if I was ok and I had to say no, not yet. Mostly because my foot had been really sore overcompensating for a limp I'd been walking with for a few days after pushing a bit hard at the gym last Sunday. Oh well, I can still walk really fast at 3.5mph, definitely progressing. BUT...I started hopping! She gave me a low step and told me to alternate my feet hoping up on it back and forth, and I didn't think I could, so she said just tap it back and forth as fast as you feel comfortable with and I actually was able to hop. Yay! Hoping I can jog for at least a couple minutes next week. Thanks so much to this community for the information, resources, and encouragement, this journey really would have sucked a lot worse without you all!

Update: I jogged for a whole 60 seconds at 4mph this afternoon at the gym! Small, I know, but planning on going for 2 minutes in a few days. I'm excited 😊

When I started losing weight, I bought a new belt to be able to track my progress (the old one was braided so hard to tell). I started on the second hole, and this morning I finally made it to the last hole, now I get to buy a new belt! I love this because the numbers on the scale are misleading since I'm also weight training, and it's just really motivating every time I go down a notch. Keto has really been awesome for me, not just weight loss, but my sleep is better, my stomach and gut issues have decreased tremendously, and I just love the energy it gives too. I'm gonna try to keep this as my lifestyle now. It's just so worth it.

So I recently read about this tape that helps remove/minimize scars and though my surgery scars aren't bad at all, I recently had an accident at work on my other leg that is scarring up a bit worse, so I thought I'd get opinions here for both. I know vitamin E is good, but has anyone had success with this scar bandage/tape thing? Recommendations?
