Will my cgpa affect my cma in future?

I got 7.14 cgpa in my first year, tho i didn't expect a lot because i wasn't well during my second semester.

I just wanna know if it's gonna affect my future in cma somehow? Should i go for improvement in a few subjects to make it better? other than cma, what are the other fields in which it might give me some disadvantages?

Water purifier Rental

Is it okay to rent a water purifier from Livpure or drink prime? Which is a better option?

Tell me about your experience if you've rented one as well

security deposit

given security of 44k for two months initially to the owner, now that I've left the pg 20 days before, would the security amount till that period won't be counted? like they ain't gonna return since i didn't stay there for most of the period for this month?

I hate this place... these people.

ok sabse pehle toh I absolutely hate this 11-month lock-in period. And if you want to leave before that, you basically have to give up your security deposit. Fine, maan liya. Bas ek month aur rehna hai somehow.

I live in a PG in Anand Niketan, which is honestly such a good residential area, but THIS PG??? Forget the rooms, the actual problem is the owners and their kids. The entitlement is actually insane.

So apparently our room AC stopped working. I texted aunty regarding it, and instead of sending proper maintenance, she sent her son as if he was gonna magically solve the issue. He kept talking in a tone like we were dumb or something. He told us to keep the AC on for 10 minutes, then left, came back later, saw it still wasn’t working, and went away again.

So we thought okay, no point keeping it on if it’s not working anyway, and switched it off. Me, my roommate, and our senior were just sitting there when this guy suddenly came back with so much attitude and asked, “Who turned off the AC?”

My senior told him she did, and he immediately started talking rudely to her in this really disrespectful tone, saying things like “hum kaam kar rahe the na" and stuff like that. Kept repeating it. Then he slammed the door and left. Like excuse me??? You’re literally a school student talking to girls older than you with that attitude?

And honestly, maybe this incident alone wouldn’t have pissed me off THIS much if our overall experience here wasn’t already terrible.

When we shifted here, the room renovation wasn’t even complete. We had to shift a week late, and even after moving in, they couldn’t arrange a mirror for more than a month despite repeated complaints. Wifi installation itself took 2–3 weeks. The geyser didn’t work properly for almost two months.

Every single time we tried talking about these issues, they’d either give careless replies or make weird expressions like we were the problem for complaining. We literally lived without a kitchen for FOUR MONTHS while still paying the same 22k rent every month. Meanwhile every other floor had properly maintained kitchens except ours.

Most things only got fixed after our parents personally called them. Whenever parents texted or called, uncle and aunty would suddenly become super sweet and professional. But with us, they were constantly rude or dismissive.

Also someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t people generally not supposed to live in basements in Delhi? My senior lives in the basement here and it genuinely feels weird and poorly maintained. They don’t even provide attached washrooms there despite charging around 18k.

And the food situation isn’t great either. We once realised they were reheating old food repeatedly, and at one point we even found out that tea was being made using expired milk packets.

At this point I genuinely regret moving here.

how do i even deal in these type of situations?

so im an introvert, i have few friends i enjoy being with but spending too much time with them even later feels like overwhelming sometime or idk i just feel mentally drained rn.

The sem exam is going to start very soon and i might have barely done half of the syllabus for now. two nights before, i didn't even sleep and why? because me, my roommate and a senior were watching a movie n yapping stuffs whatever. the thing is i really enjoyed the time but we've been doing this for almost a week now.

Yesterday, I successfully went to sleep at 11 am to wake up at 5.30 pm. In the evening again we started doing stuff then watched a movie again at night. I thought now we'll sleep at least by 12-1 am??!! but they said game khelna tha. i didn't say but my head was aching bad.

the only reason i couldn't say no was because the senior is going to leave very soon and i didn't want to ruin anything for her. later on i started feeling even more weird, they both were still energetic and I was so low on energy so i said i wouldn't play and that my head's hurting. everyone went silent and it all felt so weird at that moment. few mins idk later didi said that she was going.

(she was sitting on my bed only, she mentioned that i gotta sleep and that she was taking up the space too, but i didn't intend that way idk how to deal with these kinda situations) with an awkward bye, she went too and i went to sleep by 3 am.

i love them, i enjoy my time with them but it's been a little too much now, i need my own time too but i don't wanna ruin it someway either. we're watching a movie again at night and going out tomorrow also. plans after plans. im so fuckin tired but i can't say no either. I just can't. i can't study either. Idk what can i fucking do right now.

even when im trying to tell a friend, they say im overthinking the whole thing but how do i fuckin explain.

Finding a 1/2 BHK Flat in south extension

Me and my friend are currently looking for a 1BHK or 2BHK flat for rent in South Extension or nearby areas. Preferably semi-furnished, decent locality, and budget is around 30k max.

Also, I had another doubt for people who shifted from hostel/PG to flats, how did y’all manage your stuff during summer break? Like if we move into a flat before summer break starts, do landlords usually allow us to keep our belongings there while we go back home for almost 2 months? Because carrying all the stuff back and forth sounds exhausting 😭
