Can someone help me understand why the notion of men want to be treated as a child is so prevalent on the internet. I get that its mostly from man hating side but what is with the whole "mothering men" I if find it ironic because there is a lot who of women who say they want a man to take care of them, be the provider and protector but this never illicit any type of women want to be treated like children energy or are you their spouse or their father comments I mean it doesn't get more childlike than that**.** This always comes from one side, and I don't know what childlike behavior men show to warrant such remarks any how what are you all thoughts about this?

One of my pet peeves with atheist at least those loud ones is why do you care are so much about discrediting other people's religions down. Logically speaking why would you care so much about something that you think is stupid its not like atheism requires you to "save" people . Think about anime as someone who doesn't watch or like anime would waste you waste time to try to convince anime lovers that they shouldn't watch it or just shit on it , it seems like a waste of energy and time. Another example is with astrologers would argue with them how the stars don't affect their behaviors.

I never really know where to put marcel in the Mikaelsons family cause in the first season he is straight up one of the antagonist and Klaus was ready to kill him before Rebecca stopped him and another instance when marcel tried to reclaim the city back but onwards he was more of an ally to the Mikaelsons. He was never really put in the Mikaelsons bracket the way freya was I mean the way Vincent would criticise Freya as a part of the Mikaelsons, Hayley was given this treatment as well but marcel was treated as his own person. Even finn who was barely present seemed more of a Mikaelson than him.

At the end of season 5 he at least felt like hope's uncle. Considering the fact that he was Klaus's son their relationship never felt like father and son it was more brotherly. I don't really know why it felt this way because Marcel loved Rebecca his father's sister or the fact that they both dated the same woman (cami) or the fact that he never lived in the French quarters like Hayley or he wasn't devoted to the family like freya or the fact that he had his own family (davina).

What are your opinions about it ?

I don't like how the show handled the cure plotline, they reduced it to a courtroom battle and even before that they made a big deal about using it with consent with ( kingshark , cicada and his daughter). You could tell that writers were biased from the start, they had already decided that forcing the cure even on criminals is abad thing instead of letting the viewers decide, it could be their chance to create their version of the sokovia accords which could have been better since it being on a 20+ tv show would allow it to tell the story more broadly i.e show the reasoning behind each side. Think of the possibilities if it was done well, it would have been a good replacement for the cicada storyline and it would have been a literal battle of ideologies leaving no room for plot holes because in this fight flash's speed can't save the day. Imagine this for a second after Barry's fight with Devoe it leads to a mass casualty event ,the public has had it with metahuman just then mercury labs develops the cure which leads to creation of a movement that wants to give every metahuman the cure and its growing filled with people who lost their loved ones in the hands of metas ,Barry attempt to get through to them as the flash backfires when conversation of Barry that clearly suggest that he had something to do with the blackhole that killed a lot of people in central city and also that he changed the timeline to save his family and in the process affected everyone else's life in ways that they will never know which changes the publics perception of the Flash .In this season Barry comes to the realization of how powerful he is and how he can affect the lives of others in seconds he is in a constant conflict with himself whether one should have this much power which causes him to stop being the flash after finding out one of his teammate was the one who leaked his conversation this leads to the split of team flash as some members aren't against the cure.........

A lot of people hate his relationship Hayley because him having a boring personality .I hate it because Hayley is clearly not in love with him but he is madly in love with her and the worst thing is that he would have died for her. She only got married to him in order to strengthen their ware wolf pack, Jackson was ready to lay down the lives of his pack members for Hayleys daughter and the whole time you could tell that Hayley wasn't in love with him but she tried, you can't force it. Jackson was too good for the show he was beefing with an immortal psychopathic murderous family that have terrorized the world for a thousand years because of the woman he loved and her daughter which later caused the baby's father and his aunt to curse the entire wolf community to be stuck in wolf form . Honestly, Jackson deserved better seeing Hayley go back to her ex must have been painful only to later die because her ex forgot about her and later when her daughter dies temporary, she uses her to send a message to her ex that she is still waiting for her dance. He was killed by strix because he wasn't important as hayley.

He is my favorite character in the whole of tvdu ,his not your traditional "good guy" character . I liked how saw himself above other vampires especially young vampires, his ability to threaten to an entire room of adversaries with a calm but cold demeanor is unmatched. I liked him but the writers didn't they always sidelined him for Klaus the fan favorite. The writer's decision to make him care about his family was good but to make him spent his life for Klaus's redemption is stupid, I get that their dynamic probably the best in the verse, but you don't have to put him down to uplift Klaus. They made him fall in love with Hayley the mother of his niece so they couldn't spend time on him finding a love interest, they spent seasons showing that he could anything to save his family including murdering children even though they came to life only to make him responsible for Hayley's death but it's okay cause he didn't have his memories its like the writers hated him .There is no reason that would justify him killing himself because he has nothing left to live for, I'm surprised Klaus let him, he was best suited to be hope's guardian among the Michaelsons. Daniel Gilles gave an outstanding performance as Elijah from such an awful script, the way he uplifted Elijahs character which is meant to be a boring strict to the rules kind of character. They would have been a lot better especially sn4 and 5 if they didn't trash his character. Edit Sorry for the spelling i can't seem to edit the title

In full it means involuntary celibate, but the internet has turn it into an insult when referring to misogynist and generally men that are aligned with red pill ideology when they are literally black pilled. Many incels have not only checked out of dating but also out of the pleasures of life they basically wake up, eat, go to work, watch movies or play video games and sleep. Life has lost its meaning to them. They are many things but not misogynist, how can they be when they have already given up on life most of their frustrations are channeled inwards which is the source of their depression. That community is just sad, hopeless and full of self-blame and you can't blame them you can only try so much before you give up. I get it you want misogynist to have no girlfriends but that doesn't give permission to drag an entire group of people through the mad as if they had any choice in the matter.

The whole misandry and misogynistic content has taken a lot of space on the internet for it not to be ignored. They are forms of prejudice against the other gender but they take a completely different approach. I don't know if anyone has noticed this or it's just me but misandrist tend to say the most diabolical things borderline war crime as compared to their misogynist counterparts . They say things such as all men are evil /should die , raising a boy is raising a potential victimiser of women , a bort baby boys, castrate baby boys, recently they were saying that a bear is safer than a man, all men should start their life in prison and earn their way back to society now they are supporting a mother killed her innocent kids and blaming his husband. I don't know why they say things like this, could it be because that they aren't taken seriously ? anyway what are your thoughts, am I onto something?

Elijah gets a lot of hate because of what he did with freya to davina in order for them to defeat lucien mind you davina was already dead . He also gets a lot of hate from a section of the fandom after killing marcel after being shown the vision of the person who would literally kill them , Elijah was ready to spare his life only if he wouldn't take the serum and marcel takes that's why he was killed all the things Elijah did in that episode hear was to protect his family and he is the only getting all the hate and just the previous season Klaus killed Gia Infront of Elijah, cursed Hayley and her entire wolf clan to be stuck in their form wolf form , compelled marcel to kill Rebecca (while she was in a human body) if she tries to leave for the slim chance of saving hope and nobody ever brings it up , most of the things klaus did here were extra especially killing gia. I don't hate klaus but the fandom excuses his wrong doings whilst crucifying other characters for less.

Did anyone notice how the plot of an episode always bends over backwards for her? During the savitar era Barry proposes to iris in order to change the future, iris found out and essentially cancels the engagement with the reasoning of "i don't want you to marry me out of fear " mind you it was to save her life not his and as always the whole team agrees with her. Joe west "don't let fear control you...." finally Barry apologizes. Another instance is when Barry took Nora back to the future because she was working with RF and iris main concern was that he made that decision alone . Nora basically went back to RF the same day and so did iris the very thing Barry was against and as always team flash was siding with Iris joe west "Being a parent means making difficult decisions but also listening and giving your child a chance to explain themselves " he ends apologizing to iris even though he knew that the RF manipulating her the same way he was manipulated but in the next episodes they made it seem that his action was wrong only for Nora to be wiped out of the timeline . During the forces arc there is a dispute on how to save the avatars of the forces ,Barry wants to uncreate the forces iris is against the team think its a wrong idea iris goes looking for the speedforce where she is almost killed and only got saved when Barry made the avatars temporary loose their powers only to be put back because iris was right all along and as always Barry apologizes. And that's just iris Barry was always losing arguments to the team every time and the show always made it apparent that he was wrong for coming up with the easiest solution and at the end of the episode he apologizes to them . Did the writers hate him or what?

After rewatching the flash it got me thinking how do speedsters open portals they seem to run around fast at mach speed then boom a portal to the past , future or the speed force open or yet a portal to another earth. And also there are occasions where they reverse time like nora 52 times or when Barry did it to save the city from tsunami and vandal savage was it ever acknowledged or was it just aplot device to avoid two Barrys

Being a fan of tv shows i have noticed a striking similar in terms plot especially supernatural shows.The core idea is a character mostly women goes through something traumatic and turns on her team in away that doesn't make sense, while in their "phase" they always become somewhat mean to their team in addition of trying to murder them and their decision are always irrational.Alison from teen wolf goes through that after her mother dies she actively hunts Derrick, Catalyn from the flash goes through the same but as killerfrost where she tries to kill members of team flash for no real reason , Hope from the Legacies (TVDU) goes through the same arc after she activates her vampire side and beats up and kills Alaric(the closest thing to a father she had ), Juliette silverton from the grimm (Nicholas burkhardt wife) when she turns into hexen beast gets her mother in law killed , elena Gilbert and also Caroline goes through the same . Has anyone else noticed this and are there other examples from other show?
