My friend is doing construction and this beautiful Japenese Maple has to go. I was thinking about taking it for my yard. Is it feasible (and worth it) to transplant this into my yard? It’s fully mature, about 10’ wide, has been left untended for a while.

I booked an AF PE award a few months ago, NCE-JFK via CGD for 40k flying blue points + $300. I got an alert for availability on that route for J on Aer Lingus for 55k Atmos points + $225. I would have to pay a $75 cancellation fee on AF to get my points back.
Normally I would think this a no-brainer upgrade, but I'm hesitating. First, my stash of Atmos points is much smaller than my stash of Chase UR points, and I'd like to save them for a longer-haul redemption, like to Japan. I personally don't really mind PE on a daytime transatlantic, which is relatively short. The Aer Lingus flight is slightly more inconvenient for timing (leaving NCE a little earlier, slightly longer layover in DUB vs CDG, arriving in JFK a little later in the evening). The last thing that gives me pause is in case of IRROPS, AF would be better positioned to get me back to JFK (since they've got multiple flights out of NCE daily), where if for whatever reason Aer Lingus cancels or is delayed then I may be significantly delayed getting back to NY.
So, should I keep the AF PE flights, or take the Aer Lingus?
