Hi everyone. After reading a million posts on this subreddit, I've decided to share my tb journey. Note:- none of this is medical advice. Always consult your doctor.

I am only sharing this is because reading all the posts made by others did help reduce some of the anxiety that i had and hopefully reading this post helps someone else feel at ease with their treatment journey.

Little background- 31F. History of repeated episodes of acute ge for atleast a year. Not a drinker/smoker. No other health issues apart from anxiety. Treatment start date - 21/06/26. Treatment end date - 16/12/26

21st June, 2026 :- Got diagnosed with abdominal tb through genXpert. Got prescribed on standard HRZE protocol for 6 months (2 months of hrze and 4 months of hr). Spent the whole day researching about the side effects caused by the meds and scared myself. Reached out to a bunch of redditors for and they were all super helpful and kind. Also started taking pyridoxine and liv52 for liver health. Anxiety levels -8/10 No. of cry sessions - 2

23rd June 2026 - Took time off from work to focus on the treatment. So far i get serious nausea an hour after taking the meds and feel super lethargic. Anxiety levels -7.5/10 No. of cry sessions - 5

25th june 2026 - Was unable to take meds as i kept vomiting out of anxiety.

26th June 2026 - Nausea continues. My legs started feeling numb with tingling sensations. Also my right leg feels weaker. Got some bloodwork done and everything looked fine with just uric acid levels at 9.9. Got referred to get an MRI spine done to check if i had potts spine coz it's wayyyy too early to be getting these side effects. Anxiety levels -9/10 No. of cry sessions - 1

30th june 2026 - MRI reports came back...i don't have TB in the spine!!!!!!! Hallelujah!!!!! Now i am back on track with treatment for 6 months. Anxiety levels- 4/10
