I should’ve installed it one side at a time to keep this from happening. Made the mistake of taking both sides out and now my lower isn’t flush for me to install the new angled grip bushings. Could someone please give me a step by step on how to put it all together? Thank you and God bless.

Let’s talk about my first Atlas. Man o man. When I got into firearms last year, it was rare to find one stocked or for sale on the secondary market. People are on the waitlist for 1 year+! I remember vividly I was 1 day away from boarding a flight to Cabo for my friend’s 50th birthday. After packing, I just decided to hop on CAGuns and scroll the classifieds section and voila.. this Unicorn appeared and it was brand spanking new with 0 rounds shot. I immediately offered to buy it and within 3 hours, the seller and I are at an FFL in Livermore to do the private transfer. I flew to Mexico the next day. I had a blast. Played lots of golf. But I would lie to you if I didn’t say I wasn’t thinking about coming home to my first Atlas every single day I was in Cabo! Haha I love this pistol. The softest shooting 2011 I own and it also happens to be the Atlas I shoot the most.

My first gun happens to be this 2011 right when Staccato made it available for Commifornia. Had a LEO buddy of mine go with me to our LGS to give me guidance and his recommendation. I only wanted “one” gun that can do it all and the HD was the best money could buy at that time for a civilian like myself.
I was first told by guy behind the counter that there’s a 6 month waitlist for it and that I should reserve one. Minutes into our conversation, guy behind the counter picked up a phone call and hung up. Said someone just backed out of their pick-up. He offered it to me on the spot if I’m ready to buy right at that moment, otherwise it goes to the one next on the waitlist. Paid and started my 10 days right there and then. I’ve since become friends with the workers at that LGS after so many transactions lol It’s really been an exciting journey.
In all honesty, I never truly appreciated what this gun was about because I’ve never shot cheaper guns. I had no point of reference. T’was truly love at first sight. “One” turned to two.. we all know how that goes.

I recently moved but want to buy now. I already filed a change of address with the DMV online but I haven’t gotten a replacement DL card yet. I still have my old address on my DL and my car registration. They both match and it’s what I use to purchase all my prior guns. My question is, if I want to buy a gun now, will my DROS pass with my current DL and car registration with the old address? Or will I have to wait for a replacement DL card with updated address and a new utility bill matching the updated address?
