Light at the end of the tunnel for Green card lottery or maybe not

As you Trump administration walipause the diversity lottery au Green Card na since then wamekuwa wakipush new rules; just when you think inakuwa open wanasema wako na more regulation wanataka kuongeza.

A federal judge is considering putting an end to these games and opening the lottery. Lakini I wouldn't be happy with only the decision until ikuwe implemented juu recently the US, much like Kenya wamekuwa wakitake court orders kama suggestions na wako very hesitant to implement.

Keep your documents close tukingoja the ruling ,will keep you updated.

We need a clear path back home for Kenyans Stranded abroad

Recently kumekuwa na photos of a woman identified as Selina who used to be a domestic worker but has been living in the streets of Beirut, Lebanon. Kenyans wamekuwa wakijaribu kutrace familia yake ndio wajue vile watamleta home.

Hii story ya kenyans kuingia abroad na kuenda up kwa streets si mpya so here's what I think

  • Kenya mission abroad needs to find a more efficient to track next of kin and repatriate kenyans in trouble

  • Kenyans going abroad need to register at least two emergency contacts with the state Department before leaving the country

It's my opinion that this would solve most of hizi mashida za kenyans ending up kwa streets with no knon family and no way home

Kenya Diaspora impact Platform

Jana during Bill's meet up with Kenya pale New York, Kenya Diaspora Impact platform which is being developed by the Government of Kenya, the United Nations in Kenya and Equity Group Holdings ilikuwa launched. Wanasema the platform will provide verified opportunities for Kenyans in diaspora kuinvest in the community back home.

It sounds like a good idea if itakuwa actually implemented and run properly. Lakini pia saa hii unofficially campaigns zimeanza so kuna a lot of launching inaendelea ya kufurahisha watu so only time will tell.

Former Kenyan marathoner Beatrice Murugi

There so many things that took a turn for Beatrice Murugi ndio ajipate in the current situation. One thing alikuwa anaongea kuhusu ni about a parcel of land alinunua time alikuwa anatrain in Japan and entrusted it to her uncle. Anasema her uncle is trying to or already has swindled her off her parcel of land.

At this point ukirusha mawe, there's a good chance utagonga mtu ameoshwa na relatives wake. If your gonna have your relatives involved in your transactions, have them kama observers not executors.

Unwarranted hate after Nairobi wins bid to host 2029 World Athletics Championship

After Kenya kushinda the bid yesterday, I've seen a section of bitter people ranting kila mahali calling Kenya "biggest dopers" and stuff. Most of hii hate is coming from England. If London had won the bid, Kenyans wouldn't be out here slandering England.

The fourth edition ya hii symposium inaanza leo, September 16th-18th 2026. Hii ni an event organised by the Employment and Labour Relations Court (ELRC) to bring together Judges, state department, employers na legal practitioners on the welfare of workers abroad na pia to ensure they get access to Justice.

Being that hii ni the fourth Edition, I do hope it's not all talk and no action.

Is this government always creating problems to solve?

Lately I feel like this government inamake the most outrageous statements zinaevoke nasty reactions and then they swoop in to condemn and act as if si wao walianza hii story yote.

Take hii story ya Burundians, today I saw Bill warning watu wana mistreat the Burundians and that's great but we also need to address that hao watu wanaact on their hate because of your statement.

After the uproar caused by Hasola's statement on foreigners, Head of Public Service Felix Koskei formed the National Crisis Communication Standing Committee to manage the communication disarray and public confusion sparked by Ruto's impulsive "roadside declarations" and policy pronouncements.

If the issue ni impulsive roadside declarations, do we really need a committee, si tu awache kumake hizo declarations. That just my opinion though.

Burundians situation

Jana hundreds of Burundians walienda kwa Embassy yao after maneno Bill alisema last week. Ukiangalia the jobs wanafanya hapa, I don't think most had something great going on for them back home for wao kutaka kurudi but they fear the situation inaweza kuwa ugly kama South Africa.

Gava imesema Bill alikuwa anacaution aganist people misusing visas and that's valid but it could have been handled better ama what do you guys think?

Sharp boys getting sharper: Identity Theft

Ukiskia mtu ameoshwa, most likely ni mambo ya shamba and the scammers wana up their game.

So kuna this guy alipatana na one Mr. Joel Musembi Kiilu akiuza a parcel of land pale Machakos for 2.4 million. As a rensponsible citizen anainga pale lands office na anapiga search na inasema ukweli shamba ni ya Joel Musembi Kiilu. Anatafuta Lawyer and they complete transaction ya 2.4 million.

Shock on him the guy alitransact na yeye si Joel Musembi Kiilu but Mr David Maitha operating with a fake ID and Title Deed.

Unatry kuwa cautious na bado unaoshwa, imagine a country where you cant rely on official documents. Kaa rada ukinunua shamba, apparently a simple search is no longer enough.

Is this the way?

I do understand the need to protect Kenyans with small business BUT my question is if the crackdown goes through we'll we see kenyans wakianza kuzungusha kahawa na njugu to fill the gap? Ama these are jobs not many Kenyans walikuwa inclined kufanya in the first place?
