Different Plans for Death?

I want to be buried when I die. I'm Iranian-American, my family are very Americanized, non-practicing "Muslims". So... I guess religiously, but moreso culturally, we prefer burial.

My husband on the other hand is cheap (with certain things but mostly everything lol) and that's the only reason he's cited as wanted to be cremated lol. His grandpa was cremated. His dad wants to be cremated and therefore he wants to be cremated.

Idk, I just always thought that husbands and wives should be buried next to one another and that families/kids come visit them together. What do you do when 1 person wants to be buried and the other cremated? Bring dad's ashes to visit mom's grave

Confirmed for Mother's Day Weekend for the next 3-4 Years?

I heard somewhere that WTR is planned for Mother's Day weekend for the next 3-4 years. Anyone else upset by this? I know I have a choice not to go and we may end up not going one of those years, but this is the 1 trip we take annually without the kids, just as a couple, and we have gone every year for 7 years. Has anyone heard this Mother's Day weekend rumor too and substantiated it? If so, if I were to look elsewhere what's better... LTL or Sonic Temple?

EDIT: Danny Wimmer made a post about how WTR can't be during hurricane season and in that post he said that next year it will be the "same weekend". So we know for 2027, at least.

Kellin @MCR?

Kellin Quinn said he'd be in the crowd at MCR. Did anyone see him actually? I swear we would have seen something by now. I've always wondered do other bands stay and watch performances and, if so, are they in the crowds or backstage?

Alternative to DWP Festivals?

We come to WTR every year and our daughter (7) has been asking to come. Personally, we don't want her attending until she's maybe 12. The language on the shirts, the outfits, the weed, the cursing... I don't mind it, but just don't want my 7 year old exposed to that right now, you know?

Has anyone been to Shaky Knees or Warped? Is the vibe similar or more tame/age appropriate? I know Shaky Knees and Warped are 2 completely different vibes from one another lol.

Am I (40F) uptight because I don't partake in swearing at work? I've had a few professional white collar jobs (supply chain mgmt/IT) where my millenial bosses (older male, younger female) just drop F bombs left and right. I understand they are comfortable with me so it's conversational despite being work discussions, but I could never lol. Maybe it's because I'm a subordinate so I feel like I have less freedom but I don't think I would ever curse if I was a boss either. Meanwhile in my personal life I have no filter.

Looking at the map for this year and there's "grass" on the image where Inferno and Vortex stages are. Have they announced anything officially about turf that I may have missed or am I just speculating at this point? I know I can wait until Thursday but I need something to look forward to and on this Monday apparently turf excites me lol

I'm going to a 4 day music festival next month in Florida. I was considering starting a skincare routing bc I just turned 40 and don't want to look it lol. But, I'm reconsidering the timing since I will be out in the sun for 4 days in less than 2 weeks.

Should I wait to start after we get back or will I be safe if I load up on sunscreen?

To note, I never break out. My issues are normal aging issues and some redness/uneven pigmentation. I am Middle Eastern so my skin can take a lot of sun. Last time we went, though, it was very hot and so we were sweating a ton and there was a LOT of dirt all over us from people kicking up dust and I had the WORST forehead breakout that last a couple of weeks afterwards. Anything I can do to avoid that again?
