Tonpa is going to be the next emperor of Kakin

As stated in chapter 411, if a successor isn't selected by the end of the voyage, the family will fall out of power and someone else will be king... so you wonder, who's this mastermind who's moving the pieces to become the next emperor? This is Tonpa! He always participates on the hunter exams, so obviously he participated on the exam that selected the hunters who would join black whale 1, and as the mastermind he is, he definetly passed kurapika's truth detector. Now he's on the boat, moving his loyal servants around to protect every prince on the boat, so no one dies, and when the current empire is overruled, he'll take over and dominate kakin !

Could the ending be imminent?

Edit: OF THE ARC OBVIOUSLY

Togashi has 50 new chapters planned. If those are the remaining chapters of this arc, that would make the Succession War arc 111 chapters long. 349-460. For comparison, the York New City arc was 56 chapters long and the Chimera Ant Arc was 132 chapters long.

From those 50 chapters planned, 20 are almost ready! You could say that 50 chapters are too little so solve every plot Togashi has set, but Togashi was never conventional on his arc endings, just take Netero nuking the ants and the hostage exchange from YorkNew City arc as an example...

And is it me or the recent Shonen Jump marketing is a bit excessive for only 10 chapters? Am I being delusional?

Unpopular opinion: I don't want a season 4

I think the ending was perfect and fitting for their relationship. I could never see Will going all the way the darkside with Hannibal, so I always interpreted the ending as Will realizing he enjoyed killling the red dragon and being scared of that feeling, so he decides to die and take Hannibal with him. So poetic, beautiful and a great ending to Will's arc. I don't see them being "murder husbands" and being physical, their attraction for each other always seemed more emotional and intellectual, I think a 4th season would only serve for fan-service tbh...

Will I have to replay deltarune if I download it now?

Only 5 chapters were released, so if I play them now in a modded switch, can I keep my save files when more chapters release as on in an original game?

Why no return announcement?

In the last batches they announced a new batch with at least one month of notice, but now they're probably announcing it one week before... maybe I'm being delusional, but could this mean a longer batch? It seems like they're more confident...? Combined with Togashi's novel efficiency (almost 20 chapters ready and he seems to have way more planned)...

My first divine beast... I'm obsessed, this is so beautiful

I didn't know ANYTHING about Zelda before playing it, and I'm extremely amazed. I'm not a big fan of medieval fantasy, but I'm so in love with the mix of medieval and high-tech. I'm also a mechanical engineer so I think I'm specially in love with this divine beast lol I started the fight and I also love the mechanics + song combo, going to spend some time with it later

Yeah, sometimes you just have to underthink it

I was doing the shrine in the korok forest (the constellation ones) and my thoughts were starting to get completely wild. I started counting how many big stars in each constellation, then I tried following the path the constellations did and then placing the ball where I stopped, then I started analyzing the stars in the other room and I was like "maybe I have to count how many times I would have to turn the constellation for it to look like that one in the middle?"... then I just noticed the patterns were repeating and I just had to count how many times each one of them repeated lol

Not sure if I'm feeling like a genius or a complete moron

I think the pacing in the Chimera Ant Arc is not the issue, but the watchers' expectations.

I see a lot of people complaining about the pacing of the Chimera Ant arc, or how the narrator was unnecessary and it should've gotten straight to the point. Although I agree that there was a bit too much exposition sometimes, your expectations are on the wrong place.

If someone watches the Chimera Ant arc and go "OH, I'm so hyped for Gon and Pitou's fight!!", did they really get the point? Almost all major fight scenes in this arc are about the psychology/morality behind the characters, and not about the action itself. It's like that from the beginning. We don't see Pitou and Kite fight – we see Killua being shredded to pieces for leaving him, thinking extremely low about himself, Gon giving him hope, only for said hope to be taken away from the audience. Rammot vs Killua? It's about Killua finally being free from the abuse. Gon vs Knuckle? About Gon's frustration of wanting to save someone but being too weak to do so.

All "hype" scenes are followed by a gut wrenching moment, showcasing the emotional turbulance the characters are going through. Dragon Dive is followed by Komugi being hit, Meruem and Pitou showcasing extreme love and empathy, which completely confuses Netero and Zeno. These Hunters went to a suicidal mission thinking they were saving humanity from heartless monsters, only to have said monsters destroy their world views many times by showing more empathy and compassion than humans. The narrator is telling us what is going through their mind because that's the point – the goal is not to go through the action and keep the psychology open to interpretation, what the characters are thinking, their personal feelings and the moral implications are what dictate this arc.

You watch Pitou and Gon fight and you don't think "Gon is so cool! This is so awesome!", you think "This is who could Gon could've been, and it's so sad he threw everything away for revenge".

I think Hunter x Hunter consistently made the characters psychology the main focus of this arc, even on the stairs scene we have some focus on Shoot's development. Like, just watch Meruem vs Netero, Killua vs Palm... not even once the arc tries to be what people expected it to be. And that's what makes it so good!

I'm doing a Hunter x Hunter island as my first island in tomodachi life lol

I'm doing Illumi next to keep hisoka in check LMAO

I couldn't take a picture, but after Gon said that about Killua, he also said "I only see Killua in a platonic way!!", Killua is being friendzoned even in tomodachi life lol. I didn't even try to get Killua to crush on him, they're just in character like that
