Fairweather Friends: My Updated British GP KGP Lineup after P1

I'm no fairweather friend, but friendship has limits. I am going Kimi over George. That smug look on Kimi face during at Spiegel told me either it was confidence or hubris. Practice says the former. I like either/both McLaren over Max. Red Bulls seemed to be struggling during P1. What can they bring. Lastly (sadly) Gabby over Oliver for a more than symbolic Tier 3 shakeup. Two young talents similarly rated on KRS now. Bearman has looked shaky the last two races.

Here's my British GP KGP Standard Lineup

Look I like George in the top slot. He's got back to back finishes ahead of his teammate Kimi + gave himself a little breathing room from Hamilton. When he looks up he'll see Kimi's name above his on the table. That'll give him the extra motivation to squeeze out that extra 10th. It's probably for this reason he's got top on the KRS list.

My Tier 2 picks had a similar story. Both of these drivers have pressure from their teammates and have shown recent rebounds.

The Tier 3 picks were a lot more straightforward. Bearman and Lindblad are 2 no brainers. I like Alpine this week. So I'm taking him over Sainz - even though I like him on this track.

For sure practice will tell a lot. Join me on Standard league #1 and #5

Fantasy F1 doesn’t have to be complicated. I just want to pick drivers and race.

Ever wonder why some fantasy F1 games try to make the game more complicated instead of more fun?

You end up managing a salary cap, trying to optimize around two constructors, juggling a bunch of artificial variables, and spending more time doing math than actually thinking about Formula 1.
More variables don’t necessarily mean you’re showing more F1 knowledge.

That’s exactly why I started playing KittyGP.

The idea is simple:
🏁 Sign up
🏁 Join a league
🏁 Set your lineup
🏁 You’re playing in under 2 minutes.

No salary cap spreadsheets.
No forced constructor combinations.
No endless optimization rabbit holes.

Just pick the drivers you believe will perform and compete against your friends. If you know the sport, that’s what should matter.

One tip: make sure you join your league before lineup lock, otherwise you’ll have to wait until the next race weekend.
