Panasonic Plasma TV - Newbie

I am quite new to the world of plasma tv. I have been reading this sub for a few weeks to learn more about the subject.

Someone locally posted this Panasonic plasma tv and I know it is one of their better models. Do you recommend it and for $200? Also do you think one person can move it? Thanks

Is Oppo Really Worth It?

I am quite new to the world of blu ray but I have been doing my research. When it comes to the best blu ray player money can buy, it seems to be hands down one in the Oppo lineup.

I heard somewhere that all blu ray players transmit the same information to the TV. The only difference in players is what else can the player provide. In essence a used sony or panasonic player generates the same picture as the Oppo.

Does an Oppo player transmit the same picture as any other player or is there a difference? And if there is a difference, how much better is it and is it worth the significant expense? Thanks

PXG Collegiate Bags Missing Front Pouch Cover

Got extremely lucky recently at a thrift store and scored these nice PXG custom Duke University bags. I'm assuming due to personalization, the front pouch was removed. They are designed to be removed as there is velcro on the inside and the second half of the zipper is missing.

I attempted to contact PXG customer service but they said the bags were custom, not retail, and they did not have a replacement. Does anyone know where I can find replacement front pouch covers? Thanks.

Newbie Looking for Advice

Recently cleaning out my grandparents house and decided to keep my grandfather's stereo system. Through some testing I was able to rehabilitate the bookshelf speakers by replacing the fuses. The Yamaha receiver and Philips CD player had issues that make it unplayable. (Left channel was quieter and slightly distorted, CD player was making Vinyl like cracks).

I would like to create a budget stereo system with the speakers I already have. Mainly looking for receiver and CD player. Asking for help where is the best place to look for these items and what brands do you recommend? What are some good rules to follow when looking at used equipment? And I have noticed more AV receivers for sale than regular stereo receivers. Are AV receivers considered good equipment?

Thanks in advance for your guys help. Please keep in mind I am very new to all of this.
