Got my Hisense U6 Pro today!

My 65 inch Hisense U6 Pro finally arrived 🙌 I paid around $600 for it, which felt pretty reasonable for a 65" MiniLED. Still need to finish taking all the protective stuff off, but I already love it.

I rent, so I didn’t want to drill into the wall or build the whole room around a TV. I put it on a rolling TV stand instead and honestly that might be my favorite part of the setup. I can pull it closer when I’m doing yoga, move it out of the way when I need more floor space, or turn it a little depending on where I’m sitting.

I cast yoga videos while the sunlight is coming through the windows in the morning. So the anti-reflection screen can be useful for that. I don’t have to shut the curtains just to see what’s happening on screen.

The MiniLED picture is a huge upgrade from the tiny old TV that came with the place. Even regular streaming looks much better.

Wasn’t sure if buying a bigger TV while renting was a dumb idea, but so far I’m very happy I did lol.

Hisense U65 Pro at Costco now. Worth the $?

Saw this on Costco and I’m tempted tbh.

The 65" Hisense U65 Pro is around the $600 range right now, and the costco direct promo has my eye.

I've been looking for a living room TV upgrade. My current TV is just a basic 4K LED from a few years ago, and I mainly use it for Netflix, sports, YouTube, and some PS5.

The MiniLED + 144Hz panel sounds pretty good for the price, but I'm wondering how it actually performs day to day.

My living room has a lot of sunlight during the afternoon, so brightness and reflections matter more to me than having a perfect dark-room movie setup.

Anyone here picked up the U65 Pro from Costco? Worth it or should I spend more on something higher end?

Trying to create a bedroom that feels like an old black & white movie

I’ve Loved the vibe of old Hollywood movies. I wanted to bring some of that into my bedroom. For that reason I went for black, white and grey to give it a more vintage feel that one might see in black and white movies from long ago. I also tried to add different textures so it wouldn’t just feel too plain. In fact, I have not yet figured out whether I should add more layers or keep this monochrome mood?

What y'all think about Hisense TV? Watched the World Cup at a bar on it

Went to a local diner/bar to watch the World Cup this week.

The place was packed, lights were on, people were standing everywhere, and the game was still really easy to watch. I was sitting pretty far back at first, then moved closer to the bar later, and the picture looked clear from both spots. It honestly made my old TV at home feel rough.

My current TV is an older 55" set, and watching football on it now feels kind of dull. Fast plays don't look as clean, and daytime games in my living room look washed out unless I close the curtains.

Now I'm thinking about upgrading before the later World Cup matches. Budget is probably around $800 to $1,300. I'm looking at 65" or maybe 75" if I can make it work. Seating distance is around 9 to 10 ft, mostly for football, movies, YouTube, and normal streaming.

The TV at the bar was a Hisense, but I didn't catch the exact model. Any Hisense users here? Which model would you recommend for a bright living room and sports? Or are there any other brands/models in this price range I should compare?
