I’ve been comparing transcription using the same interview, and the results were pretty interesting:

Otter (iPad mini 7): clearly the best overall

iFLYTEK AINOTE Air 2: live transcription was decent, and re-transcription after recording was noticeably better

Goodnotes (iPad mini 7): missed so much of the conversation that I found it basically unusable for transcription

Now I’m really curious where the AiPaper Mini would land.

Would anyone with an AiPaper Mini be willing to play the first 3 minutes of this video and share the raw transcript?

Hi PLAUD team,

Every time I open the PLAUD app on my iPhone, I get the following error:

“Unable to load the intro file due to an unstable network. Please check your connection and try again.”

The app itself opens normally, but this message appears every time.

I’ve already tried:

Wi-Fi and cellular data (same issue on both)
Turning off VPN
Restarting the iPhone
Reinstalling the PLAUD app
Confirmed that I’m using the latest version

The issue still persists after reinstalling.

Is this a known issue with the current iOS app or the server/CDN? Has anyone else experienced this?

I’d like to clarify the offline transcription capability of the AINOTE Air 2.

In your recent official website announcement regarding the Air 2 update and Pro Plan, I noticed that offline transcription was mentioned as a supported feature.

Could you please confirm whether this means that an AINOTE Air 2 with the Pro Plan can actually perform voice-to-text transcription completely offline, without any Wi-Fi or internet connection?

For example, if I am in a company meeting where Wi-Fi is unavailable, can I record the meeting and have the speech transcribed into text directly on the Air 2 while remaining offline?

I’m asking because earlier information about the Air 2 suggested that offline transcription was not supported, while the recent announcement seems to indicate otherwise.

Could you clarify the current status after the latest update?
