trouver un petit taff recos

salut,

why is my cactus like this?

that's m'y gf 9yo cactus, is it a normal color ?

i put him in a cactea/succulent soil one year ago because some parts of it were dying (i removed the parts),now he has this brown color and don't grow much, i wonder if he lacks some natural light ?

(he's in a corridor without direct light except soft light from other rooms)

(i water him 1 time a month in summer, the pot is pierced and there is clay balls at the bottom in order to drain)

(the white dots are some kind of sand/part of the soil mix)

pc or console?

hi! i just got into planet zoo and love it, but my laptop is not very adapted (a simple 2018 ASUS with 8GB Ram, intel i5, integrated graphics), so the game is VERY laggy/slow.

i don't have the budget to buy a pc gamer, but i'm looking into back market to find a computer more suitable to this kind of games but everything with a good graphic card RTX/NVIDIA something is expensive.

i will probably buy pz2 so i'm looking for something who can handle this game too

-i know there is GeForge now but i don't have wifi nor internet box right now in my home, i'm using my phone as Wifi :(-

my question is : my budget is 500€, should i buy a secondhand ps5 because it's cheaper than a good computer ? whats the things i wouldn't be able to do? (i read you can plug a mouse/keyboard to the ps5 to be able to do more construction stuff)

fiber mill mod

i really wants to create a mod which adds some fiber arts crafts to stardew valley, in terms of content it could be:

  1. new fiber crops (flax, hemp, nettle, cotton, bamboo..)

  2. new animals who gives each one a special fiber (yak, alpaca, camel, angora goat, cashmere goats, and why not different breeds of sheeps ?..) maybe it could use already existing mods with some animals (i know there is already mods with camels/alpacas/silkworms..)

  3. a more realist craft mechanics with new machines (raw fibers gets carded in a drumcarder, then spinned into yarn with a spinning machine, then wove into cloth by looms, could also add a dyeing pot machine in order to have a more realistic dye process)

  4. fiber products can be sold at different stages (alpaca fibers, alpaca yarn, alpaca cloth, alpaca blanket...)

i think it would be really cool to have a mod oriented towards mill/fiber production! does it seems possible to make... as a beginner ? (i only coded on visual coding engine like gdevelop/Godot, have a little pixel art practice but i'm a total newbie to modding)

Rituels modifiés par la chaleur

salut!

prepping car fur

i have three cats : two short haired european cats who gives me hair, a mix of guard hairs and undercoat, and one middle-haired/fluffy cat (probably british shorthair crossbreed) with a lot of soft undercoat. i brush them with a tiny "carding" pet brush anytime i can, and I accumulated lots of. is there anything i can do before i spin it ? some hairs are the three cats blended (i run around in my home and try to brush everybody because they shed a lot lmao), some parts are just hairs of one cat and I wondered how can i blend everything together. should i add some wool roving or silk to make it easier to spin?

overshot - nice selvedges?

started my first overshot project and my selvedges are a mess, i don't know how to have nice ones ? sometimes the thicker weft thread doesn't go at the end of the warp, sometimes i let it where it is, sometimes i tried to cross the two weft threads but I wasn't a good idea and now it looks really chaotic.... any advices to have something clean ? :)

third band weaving try

yarn is mercerized thrifted bambou, weaved on a RHL with a mini rigid heddle i had with a child loom!

u/knitterlover666 — 3 months ago
▲ 28 r/weaving

(lilac matte cotton & shiny orange/yellow bambou)

choosed the colors randomly bc I don't have many cotton/vegetal yarns but i think they look quite harmonious!!

(I don't use the heddle to beat like rigid heddle weaving, i just use it to form the shed and I beat with my shuttle, like band weaving)

I don't have a inkle loom but I'm really interested to try some warp faced technique so i did a sort of mini inkle weaving by holding with my hand a few handspun thread ends and weaving some plain weave with a needle... It isn't totally warp faced because the blue thread is showing at the edges (tension issue? weft thread too thick? Beating too hard? ) but I like how it looks and I hope to learn more
