I was cleaning my range hook and the over spray got all over my pans. It's left a sticky residue that wont come off. I've tried hot soapy water, green scrubbers, dry salt, and boiling water in them but there is still a residue in there and faint scent. The can says it should not be used on food surfaces although it isn't poisonous and contains food grade oil. Should I just strip and re season?
