I am trying to gather all things related to my uncles MG project together to sell it to settle an Estate. This tool was in the general vicinity of the loose bits.. though there are a lot of unrelated loose bits from other projects as well. Should I put this in the MG basket?
Generally Norway westland. The glacier is Nigardsbreen. The farm is Elvekrok. Time 1850-1900. I am trying to get an estimated Lat Lon.
The photo is a stereoscope taken by Nils Reppen. He was a pretty well-known photographer in Norway at the time, documenting life there in the later 1800s. There are several sites showing his works. . One of these women is my great-grandmother. This is probably where she lived. We hope to find the site when we visit Norway this summer.
The glacier was more advanced at the time. I doubt any of the buildings still exist. It is probable that the land is owned by someone and inaccessable.
